First off let me say thanks to Mr Davis for his service to our country. We need more stories like this in college football.
But don't go getting a big head M2, there have been plenty of other soldiers who have gone before Davis. In fact one just won a NC last year.

All of Kal's roster are soldiers. And
all of them won an NC last year. Hell, even the players who were on the team back in '03 got rings as well.

I recall hearing about him. It's always impressive hearing about a kid that has head screwed on right, in an era of students such as those at USC which are basically thugs and paid football players.
He really wasn't much on the field...
