Disappointing but you can't let the inmates run the asylum

Post by Th »

NFL Network is now reporting that the Patriots are letting Deion Branch seek a trade with and negotiate a contract with other teams. (no link yet found) Belichick has never been shy about tough roster/player decisions but damn. I guess the only question now is what the Patriots will accept as fair value in a trade. Tough to lose the the team's best wideout this close to the start of the season.

So according to BSmack, that would make Reche Caldwell or David Givens a #1, eh?

Don't stop him now, he's on a roll.

Much like you with your chin, Branch will be catching balls soon enough... For the Patriots.

Seymour did some postering last summer and ultimately reported. Deion will do the same... he really has no leverage whatsoever.
