It's Stanford.

11.5 at home is a gift even if Pee Wee Herman is the QB.

Doh!

Kal reference.

My bad.

Slowly walking away from keyboard

I've been working my ass off today and really wasn't paying attention.

Get ready for some page stretching pictures of Longshore.

Plus I'm sure he'll find a way to mix in the Golden Gate Bridge and some Oklahoma flat land.

Of course, he lives in Fairbanks now, so I don't think his theory held up, but it's the thought that counts, right?

You're friends with Damone?

It was actually some variant of that quote. Bear in mind, that movie wasn't that old at the time.

Nah...Chubby Chuckles was MUCH more of a character. He may have moved on to points north years ago, but his legend will always remain. For that matter, I think his ultra-bitchin 70 Chevelle SS LS6 still remains here, too.

Quit correcting my grammar, bitch, and start paying attention.

I read in an LA fishwrap that Longshore may be hurt. Aboob will go 5-29 in his first start and Nate will be in by the 3rd quarter.

I got that, in case you were wondering.

Bout time for Bellotti to drop a "I've changed my mind about Dixon starting," to keep the PAC preseason ball rolling.

God damned I'm off my game. That's 2 days in a row I fucked up a Kal reference. Once with Oregon and once with USC. I'm not even drinking!

Brain cells are falling out my head!

I meant Tedford.

Oh hell -- I though it was a play on your earlier fuckup, which was pretty subtly funny.

Uh...yeah...it was....that's right.

Seriously, I've got 10 things I'm trying to do at once at work. I'm just checking over here every now and again.

See how I get things confused sometimes? Hence...my faux pas.

The difference is... Tedford never named a starting qb 'til after practice yesterday.

Interview after practice with Tedford,Ayoob and Longshore

You may notice that the Cal qb's handle themselves a little bit differently than the ASU qb's.

right. since a bunch of traditional powers like Oklahoma and Nebraska were going to be beating on the door of Ayoob.....after setting the Pac-10 on fire on last year. Ayoob's got a lot of cards to play.

:meds:

Dunbar's spread/Northwestern... better suits Ayoob's ability. Ayoob played in the spread at CCSF, where he was ranked as the top JC qb in the country. It takes awhile to learn Tedford's offense, which is why all the qb's that come in are blueshirted their first year. Ayoob didn't have that luxury last year due to Longshore's broken leg.

When I was at spring practice this year... he looked like a completely different player than last year. I think a year under his belt and his familiarity with the spread maybe part of it.

I've heard of "bullshitted."

For example:

"Rick Neweasel bullshitted one of the greatest prep QB's in history, and completely destroyed any chance for success Taylor Barton had."

was Ayoob getting hit in spring practice? was he going against the 1's of Cal's demonhell flamethrowing +2 D?
