The Angels Should Shut Down Weaver
The Angels are 7.5 back with 28 games to play, so they are done. Given it is his first year pitching, he has 89 IP with the Angels plus 77 at Salt Lake, which is a lot. Should the Angels shut him down for the season?

Do you have Weaver in a Fantasy Keeper League??
28 games is 17% of the season!
7 of the Angels remaining games are against the Okland A's.
The Angels still have a prayer.
Never Quit. Never Surrender.
I'm still rooting for a Red Sox Miracle!
All they have to do is go 24-4 in September and they have a shot at the Wild Card.

It's a tough call. Seven and a half is a tough road to hoe. Oakland isn't coming back. As hard as he throws perhaps I'd use him a little less often. Spot start somebody from AAA and give him some more rest.
