Bush admits that the CIA runs secret prisons
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/bush
Color me shocked, SHOCKED, that this could've happened. How on Earth can anyone justify this?
Just because some freedom fighters elected to fly planes into the WTC and kill some 3,000 persons in one fell swoop is no reason to abdicate our God given constitutional values, right?
You think that Abu Ghraib was a sordid affair? Can you imagine what occurred at these "secret" prisons? It just boggles the imagination. And now they're sending these 14 unjustly accused freedom fighters off to Guantanomo, and this makes me somehow feel "safer"?
Enough is enough. Impeach the fucker who had the audacity to put American lives ahead of freedom fighters.
Barring impeachment, at least run him out of the White House in two years in tar and feathers, and take away his lifetime pension and secret service detail. That'll show that dumbfuck just how outraged we, the American people, are with his flouting the Geneva convention.
I won't be voting for him again, that's for sure.
