That page would be porn for Ron Jaworski and any other football pundit that watches game film...

Good point...I got to the bottom of the page and I was wondering after all that, who did he think would win? Then again, if you did all that prep work for this game and you were wrong with your prediction...all that stuff would go to waste. That page is borderline creepy. That had to be put together by an unemployed fellow...

Then again, dude did refer to Texas as "we" a million times in that breakdown so I guess his pick wouldn't have been all that objective anyway...
Bottom line, I just don't see the retooled and rather shaky looking OSU D being able to stand up to the Texas running game. If Colt doesn't completely kill Texas with miscues then the Texas D and the Texas running game should combine to win this one at home.

Rob Pongetti is a longtime hornfans.com poster. there's no pretend to impartiality. not saying it's wrong or intervenes in his breakdown, that's just who he is. he's not a homer, but he's got rooting interest.
i'm thinking about like you are. I give Texas the edge on both sides of the LOS, and D. and at home. if OSU can get a special teams or D score....
but, i'm picking the horns at home:
26-20
**however, "the play conservative" O point Rpongett makes without making the conclusion I caveat here.....plays right into the hands of Tressell....should Mack and Greg Davis do it. it's cost them more than one game against OU.

Rob is real old school. Before hornfans.com, Rob used to have his own site that was the premier Longhorn football site, I don't remember if you could post on that site but I remember on every friday before the game he would let some Longhorn Elf named Longhorn Bob post a pregame blog on it.
The other thing I remember about Rob's site is that is where Katie, her husband, and Wheeler got together and formed hornfans.com. His site went down hill after route 66 when he changed it all black and would not make it burnt orange til MacII was fired.
Now-a-days, he likes to just hang out at orangebloods.com and break down games. I have no idea how he finds the time for this since he is either a lawyer or a stock broker.
Rob is pretty well connected to both the Austin Exes and the program. He is one of those guys that when he walks onto the practice field, Mack Brown will go up and talk to him.
