-That wasn't a significant win, period. "Significant" would've (sorta) been, oh, how's about beating Taco Tech when you're ranked #5 and they're ranked "significantly" below that?

-It wasn't a road win, either. It was played on a neutral field. (Where you normally also lose.) See, a "road win" is when you go into a place like, oh, South Bend or Jordan-Hare. There, you play a really well respected team who also happens to be playing on their home field, in front of their own ravenous fans.

A "road game" is kinda like playing at Neyland Stadium, only as the visitors you're not supposed to crap your pants in panic as soon as you exit the tunnel to run out onto the field.

Yep, Cal's Back. They're back to setting their expectations bar fucksnottingly low, and then still underachieving anyway.

No crap...what a big shock that m2 would be frothing at the mouth after this overrated win. At least Minnesota finally played an opponent in the non-conference. They aren't exactly the same team as last year since they don't have a big name guy running the ball for them. They'll probably still have a decent running game this year but they don't have that marquee player like a Marion Barber or Lawrence Maroney.

Minnesota is a middle-of-the-road Big Ten team. Nothing more, and maybe less.
