From your lips to God's ears...

How about this: I'll offer you a sig bet.
If Minny wins, you sport the signature of my choosing for 1 week.
If Cal wins, I sport the sig of your choosing for 1 week.
m2 wrote:PSU, I'm in... if you still want a sig.
You ready for your sig???
Against a top tier Big 10 team/ Which owns the SEC in Bowl Games.
Unlike LSU, which played one of the worst teams in the Pac 10 tonight.
Minnesota/a team that was the # 3 in rushing team in the country over the last 3 years! Is held to 112 yards rushing.
Marshawn Lynch 140 yards rushing and 2 TD's.
Desean Jackson (high school All-Star Game MVP) over 100 yards and 3 TD's
Nate Longshore 22/ 31 for 300 yards and 4 TD's and 0 INT.
CAL's Back!!!

The toughest place for an OOC team to open the season... Neyland.
Tennessee hasn't lost a home-opener against a OOC team in 25 years.
Does that answer a very simple question?
When was the last time you saw Ohio State, USK, Penn State, Texas, Michigan, etc., ever go into Neyland to open a season... let alone with a qb with only 2 quarters experience???
I'll wait for your answer.

Problem is, Cal is eventually going to have to play somebody good again, and do so on the road.
At which point, they'll embarrass their conference again.

feCal needs to play one of those SECesque OOC schedules so they can hold on to their myopic visoins of grandeur until conference play starts and they once again show they cant play worth the fecal matter theyre named after ont he road

After grammar and spelling smacking someone else, that's pretty fuckin' rich.
And of course you're not Arkansas. Arkansas has won something before.
Really?
What have they won?
Cal has 3 MNC's in College Football, along with being the Top Academic Public University in the World.
... and you say, Arkansas has won something.

m2, yeah, you'll see us kick your ass in L.A.
Take Cal out of Strawberry Shortcake Stadium and I defy you to come up with a single truly significant win Cal has managed under Tedford.
Cal is back, alright. They're back to being soft, and insignificant, and an embarrassment to the Pac 10.

BWAAAAHAAAAA!!!!
Setting that "truly significant road win " standard SKY HIGH there, eh???
Hey, m2...
-That wasn't a significant win, period. "Significant" would've (sorta) been, oh, how's about beating Taco Tech when you're ranked #5 and they're ranked "significantly" below that?
-It wasn't a road win, either. It was played on a neutral field. (Where you normally also lose.) See, a "road win" is when you go into a place like, oh, South Bend or Jordan-Hare. There, you play a really well respected team who also happens to be playing on their home field, in front of their own ravenous fans.
A "road game" is
kinda like playing at Neyland Stadium, only as the visitors you're not supposed to crap your pants in panic as soon as you exit the tunnel to run out onto the field.
Yep, Cal's Back. They're back to setting their expectations bar fucksnottingly low, and then still underachieving anyway.

No crap...what a big shock that m2 would be frothing at the mouth after this overrated win. At least Minnesota finally played an opponent in the non-conference. They aren't exactly the same team as last year since they don't have a big name guy running the ball for them. They'll probably still have a decent running game this year but they don't have that marquee player like a Marion Barber or Lawrence Maroney.

Minnesota is a middle-of-the-road Big Ten team. Nothing more, and maybe less.
Props on that one, m2.
