Shell Shocked Bears Fan
Over Labor Day weekend, Gonigam's World Furniture Mall in Plano offered customers free furniture -- up to $10,000 -- if the Chicago Bears shut out the Green Bay Packers in their season opener.
Four quarters, 206 customers and about $300,000 later, Gonigam is still a little shell-shocked.

Send the bill to Favre...he's been stealing a paycheck for the last couple of years anyways.

Of course the part about how he was insured for 300K on this is left out......
But the fact that it was a long shot didn't keep him from insuring the store for up to $300,000 worth of furniture with a company that specializes in insuring prize reimbursements.

This
Packer really doesn't need one... it looks like he'll have a different model every sunday for the next 15 weeks.

The amount of exposure received when one of those high-risk promotions hits is worth every last insurance penny.

Nope.
There are a host of promotional companies that specialize in this sort of thing. Every now and then one pays off and gets all kinds of media run but, for the most part, it's a pretty safe investment for the insurance companies.

M2, Favre played a decent game, at least until the end. He executed the offense, which was shitty, and got off a pass or two before being trampled by the Bears defense.
The Packers' defense was awful and the offensive line was barely even there. The Pack looked a lot like the Raiders did against San Diego.
It's gonna be a long year.

Brandsmart Electronics did that several years ago when the Chiefs had a defense, I think it was 99 or 2000, We shut out the Chargers I believe and the total take was around 700K in gear

Or, perhaps you're the dumbass for not understanding that no one would fathom doing this w/out a policy to cover it.
