Don't think this could hurt anybody, anyway. This is from a thread on the main forum. Was having PC cable speed problems, and fixed it all....

I did some googling and came up with this:

Click on the TCP Optimizer.

Use it. I don't know exactly what it did, but it made my connection speed go from 800 kpbs back up to 3.5 to 4 mpbs. It could have been something in my PC that was prohibiting it from proper performance, but I've never seen a dl work as good as this one........

i actually used cablenut and it worked for me doubled my speed. Some people say it doesn't work for them might be hit and miss for some people or they didnt install properly. get it here

There area few, but this one has always been pretty consistent for me:

Glad that worked for ya. I've never had any speed fix thing work like that one.....

used about all of those tcp/ip modifiers.
they all work to some degree.
this one I tried a while back and it worked about average.
