The annual ticket thread

Wings tickets went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. The two hottest tickets were January 2..."Steve Yzerman Night" and in December when the Leafs come to town. I couldn't get tickets to either game. The Wings were doing something where if you bought 10 single seats to any combination of games...you could guarantee 2 seats to the January 2 game. I can't afford that but I did get tickets to a couple of attractive games. I'm going to opening night against Vancouver...14th row, section 106...the debut of Luongo and the return of Hasek and it could also be the night they present Lidstrom with the C unless they do that during training camp. I'm also going to see them play Ottawa in December...2nd row, section 106 (the neutral zone)...two of the best teams in the league and Hasek gets to face his former 'mates.

As usual, I'll be in 222 Row 20 Seat 3 and/or 4 for every game.

Today the remaining tickets become available for season ticket holders, so I'll be trying to score a bunch to the New Years Eve game vs. the Greasers.

Habs tickets went on sale yesterday at 12:00. Spent one crazy hour on the internet but I was finally rewarded: Got TOR vs MTL tickets for October 28 and December 2nd.

Hah... funny. :D

But really, I was referring to my posture, as it relates to the number of beers I've had.

I'll be wherever I can get a seat, beatin' the newbies with the ClueBat.

Curious but did they raise season ticket prices after winning the Cup?

And how's ticket sales going now?

I'll cough up a few bucks for the Pirates, that's about it. Otherwise, it's NESN for me. Any spare cash is going toward a new bike in the spring, not for watching the B's at the Vault.

I agree Maniac ...it is expensive for this Southie lad to see a game at the Vault ...

They jacked 'em even BEFORE they won the Cup. But we all knew the price-hike was going to happen, so it wasn't a huge surprise.
And how's ticket sales going now?
Disgustingly well.
