Miami-Louisville

Haven't been able to watch ANY football up to this point as I've been paitning my front porch and listening to PSU on the radio. Anyways, I come inside to catch some scores and watch ND finally get beat and freefall into the bottom half of the top five. I catch the Louisville game and see they are laying an asswhoopin' to Goldtoof U.

Rack the Cardinals... I think.

You see, rumors abound that if Goldtoof U were to lose to the Cardinals today, Coker would come home to a pink slip. I like nothing better than to watch Goldtoof U get pounded. As long as Coker is there, I'm thinkin' Goldtoof U is good for getting at least one assbeatin' a year. Now, should he get fired this week, I could see a hardass coach steppin' in (maybe Butch again?), layin' down the law, and making that program the one it was when Cokes inherited it. That would suck lots of cocker spaniel dog dick.

That win meant nothing. Because I said so.

Oh great... now you've done it.

Edit to add:
It's all about married life, mgo. I take it you're not?
If I work on the porch today, I'm free for the rest of the evening to watch whatever the hell I want and drink whatever I want whilst doing so. So, I spent 4 hours scraping, washing, painting. As of 1/2 hr. ago, I was back inside watchin' CFB and don't paln on stopping 'til after the late Pac-10 game tonight (there better be one on Fox tonight).

Nope. But I'd never be pussy whipped like that. There's no woman great enough to take my college football away from me. I call the shots.

I never thought Louisville would win as convincingly as they did. That was an ass kicking.

Good luck with that.

That is all.

Louisville lost their starting QB, i believe in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

You knew Wright wasn't going to lead Miami back, how miami can't recruit a top QB is assanine, they always have very good wr's and offensive schemes for their wr's to make plays.

By the way -- Good luck? There's no luck involved. It's my way or the fucking highway.

I larfed. Hard.

Mgo, you aren't going to sit there and tell me that you didn't see this one coming from a mile away. These days, Miami couldn't even move the ball on Miami Of Ohio...

Seeing Goldtooph go down never gets old. Coker is in big trouble, blood is in the water and the rest of the sched is smelling it. But they still have talent, if the refurbished staff can get their act together and limit themselves to only two more losses Coker may get another year.

If I was Goldtooph I'd be looking very hard at TCU's Gary Patterson. Hell, with the way Neb was coached last night I'd take Patterson in a heartbeat.

Apparently I'm one of the few who did, if you look at the week 3 pick'em thread. I love how you're always such a genius after the facts. Why don't you start making picks, oh crystal-ball-one?

Regardless, a "shitty" Big East team pummeled one of the best D's in the country WITHOUT their starting phenom tailback and without their star QB for half the game.

How can you not give any credit to that?

Good god, you're stubborn.

Mgo, oh, I'll give Louisville some credit, no problem there. I'm just keeping the quality of their opponents in mind.

Notice that in the latest "Pick Your Top 10" thread I've now got Louisville listed...

As for the weekly "Pick 'Em" thread I just assumed that since I missed out on getting in at the start of the season it wouldn't be kosher to try to get in now.

Question, there: What's the deal with the first game, where everybody places a number after their first pick? Is that some sort of over-under, and why's it there?

I apologize for my ignorance there, I've never followed that thread and I don't know its rules.

Total points for game one, used in a tie breaking scenario.

It's not too late to start making picks. All you need to do is win one week, and you'll automatically qualify for the finals. Weekly winners get an automatic bid.

Well I'll give you credit for finally giving Louisville "some" credit...I guess.

The WVU game will be a true test, although I doubt they'll pull it off.

Isn't the W. Virgina-Louisville game at Louisville?

I wouldn't have any problem seeing Louisville win that game. To me that one's pretty much a toss up.

Yes, on Thursday, November 2.

I have said all summer that Louisville is the team to beat in the Big East this season. Even with their injuries they still are very solid.
