Real Army on verge of upset over Wannabe Army

Wow, Fran has taken A&M to new lows. Even if they pull this out they are still a bad football team. I thought he was a good hire to rebuild that team. I used to think John Mackovic in Italian was Dennis Francione, but it's becoming more apparent that Francione translates to Amato.

No kidding, Army with the ball, down by four.

I bet Indy is shitting all over himself right now. A&M sucks. They are horrible. They got a little heady after beating the Citadel and ULaLa. This is Fran's last year. Too bad....I like having him in College Station.

It is going to suck to see Chizik go. I like him. Great coach. He took all the blame for the game last week. The defense looked good today. I think Rice had 16 total yeards at the half. The scrubs gave up 150 in the second half. Poor Fran.

Lucky bastards. What a dumb call with no time outs.

Rice had 16 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
And now for a shocker. ATM still sucks.
Why go with a running play when you have zero timeouts on 3rd down???? STUPID!

Bobby Jack is a good guy. Hell of a recruiter but no much as a coach. OU is now finding that out. I tell you, OU hasn;t been the same since Mike left. He was the brains on the defense.

You wonder he and Gary Darnell are no longer here?

Holy God were you guys right about Bobby Jack Wright's coaching abilities. Let the guy coach D-Ends or something and have him recruit, but our defensive backs-who are amazing individual athletes-are constantly in the wrong coverages.
i've always thought Bobby Jack coaching db's was a mistake. the guy is on the staff (Stoops' first assistant hire) for one reason: recruiting Texas.

As far as stupidity goes, I didn't think Franchione's call to go for it on 4th and 1 at their own 30 could be trumped. All this w/the new clock rules making it even harder for Army to drive down and score.
I was mistaken.
3rd and goal, no time outs, 14 seconds left in the game, down by four, and you run the ball.
As far as I can tell, TWO chances to score is always a better thing than ONE chance to score.

that's all army seems to do, is run the ball when you have to pass.
i bet them last week, and listened to kent/army game, talk about allowing your opponent to come back and win. they were trying to run the clock out in the start of the 3rd quarter.
They had a 2 drives, where they ran the FB like 2 times up the gut, then a 2 yard pass.

must not of caught the ISU-Jonsense game.
Down 7, 3:48 to go, 3 timeouts left, and 4th and 10 on your 39. You punt, right? Nah, mcarney went for it, they get 8, Jonsense comes down, kicks a fg to put game away.
For some reason coaches are getting fucking stupid with the 4th down calls. It's one thing to be down 20, and your trying to make a game changing thingie, but down 3-7points, in first quarter, and going for it on 4th and 2 at your 28????

Props to Army for a strong showing.
The Ags are finally starting to wake up from the maroon koolaid hangover.
They are eating their own on texags.com.
This does not make me happy, I was hoping to see a little more crappy football before they figured out fran sucks.
My worst fear is that Chizik gets the aggie gig, I don't want to face that defense every year.
