The Raiders... 0-16???

Honestly, this is the worst football team I've seen in my lifetime. This also includes the expansion team(Tampa Bay Bucs).
I don't see them winning a single game this year.
Thoughts?

Yall can throw the Skins on the 0-16 pile. They stink.

Yeah, their offense pretty much stunk tonight. No doubt. When Portis gets back, they won't be as bad. Still won't be a good offense, but Portis' presence will be enough to get 'em a few wins.

The Raiders could conceivably be 2-2 after the bye and next two games. However, that will probably be the high point of the season.

How bad is Art Shell, Tom Walsh, and Rob Ryan? (serious question) Tony Dungy has more emotion on the sidelines than Shell. Walsh makes fewer adjustments than a cadaver, and Ryan's defense is nonexistent.
So are the coaches antiquated, or the players that bad?

But can Dungy draw happy faces on a clip board during the game like Shell can?
4
positives for Raider fans:
1.) Their young defense is playing well.
2.) Their punter is having another Pro-Bowl season
3.) Their kicker is perfect on field goal tries and extra points
4.) They won't lose next week.
get fucked.

They will also at least split with teh Donkeys and probably take 2 from the
Chefs
8-8 might be good enough for 2nd in the AFC West

Their defense played their asses off yesterday. They certainly played well enough to keep them in the game had the offense not completely melted down.
...didn't see the game but I'll take your word for it. I'm going off giving up 27 and 28 respectively in the first 2 games. Against the Bolts (at home and a game I did see) their defense was pitiful.

5.) They didn't throw a gang of money at D. Culpepper. (which was the hope of many a Raider fan)

I watch most ravens games. I saw yesterday's. If I have to make a judgement call on cause and effect in the Ravens O vs. Raiders D matchup, then I'd have to say that whatever frustrations the Ravens O had were forced by the Raiders D, rather than just offensive ineptitude (i.e. 'Skins).

So what you're saying is the Boys defense did not play a part in the Foreskins offense looking like absolute horseshit?

No, the Cowboys D did well, but they had help.

This is right, and they are young.
They're only going to get better.
In fact, Oakland is one or two solid players away (D-line, CB) from having a
VERY good defense, IMO.
The 'team' is not near as bad as folks are rating them.
SD and Baltimore have two of the best defensive fronts in the league and they completely abused Oakland's O-line, which is obviously the achilles heel of the Raider team.
If Oakland can just get a LITTLE offense going they will get their teeth into some games.
O-line, QB, and O-coordinator unfortunately don't inspire much confidence in me.
We'll see.

Terdell Sands.
Sounds like the kid is a player.
Filling a HUGE need at DT right now.
RACK him.

Yeah, Kelly is listed as the starter but Sands seemed to be lining up next to Sapp most of that game against Baltimore. He's never been a starter in 4 seasons but he's showing he might be ready to step into that role.
The guys ripping Shell for his seemingly blank stare are probably the same idiots who think Gruden wins (until this year!) because of his chucky face. Come on, now. You gotta be a smarter NFL fan than to bring that shit here.
