It is a news story in Denver and Colorado and even parts outside of the state, if the folks involved have ties elsewhere, to be sure.

A national news story? Maybe. It usually takes broadcast a day or two to catch up with the print media. If this turns out to be a domestic deal, the national TV networks won't pick it up, or a least not run nonstop with it, day after day, ala that missing chick from Bermuda or Scott Peterson or the latest "BIG" story that Nancy's and Gretta's shows "focus" on, probing the "deep issues."

Murder is murder. My comment was regarding producers of shows like NG and GvS, not actual national news.

My question is, would we stand along the murder/punishment route and cheer as the guilty person was dragged by? If yes, does that make us bloodthirsty like some of the ME folks, or would we prefer a court trial instead of summary execution. Myself, I'd be out on the street cheering,.........but not in a bloodthirsty way.
