Funny how OBL kicks it shortly after Bush tells Musharaf that he'll bust into Pakistan looking for him and other Al Queda.

"You're serious about this 'War On Terror'? You actually want to invade my country to look for Bin Laden, with or without my permission? Oh, ahhh...uhhh...uhhh yeah! He's dead...dead as a doornail. Yup. Dead."

Yes Bill, you had 8 years and they had 8 months. Same results. Was that a point in your favor??

I'm not one to go conspiracy theory but..

with Gas down under $2.00 just a month before midterm elections /rolleyes

I wouldn't be surprised to see someone who may "strongly resemble" Bin Laden
Show up dead in "soon to be released" footage.

What a better way to get those fence sitters to the voting booth than cheap gas and public enemy # 1 supposedly dead

Far be it from economic forces to affect the gasoline prices. Its all a GOP conspiracy. :meds:

The economic forces are supply and demand.

Demand hasn't dropped - Supply increased substantially as more barrels were pumped and additional refining capacity added.

Tell me why you think big oil would increase supply after the record profits they've recorded earlier this year if it was something other than political pressure.

Go look at oil stocks right now - They have All crashed hard.

Now mark this - in Nov - after the elections. the prices will rocket back up

Want to make some money?

When Oil touches $56 a barrel - Buy shares of SLB and VLO, COP and BP

Demand has dropped, dumbfuck.

Gasoline usage always drops off after labor day.

mvscal, does the price of oil really have anything to do with OPEC?

When our own fatcats shut down refineries due to pressures from the "environmentalists," and those Arab states can pump the shit out at a whim... is it our Exxon CEO types manipulating the prices or is there all of a sudden decreased demand?

Think about that one.

Posted: Mon Sep 25, 2006 10:05 pm
by Atomic Punk
So our fatcats don't manipulate oil prices?

Please... lecture on.

AP, Oil prices are set by the commodities market.

For "our fatcats" to manipulate the price, they'd have to buy their own oil from themselves at an inflated price and then sell it back to themselves at no profit. Can't be done.

yes, it will, but (As i previously expalined) it will be becuase of cold weather in the ortheastern US leading to more use of heating oils (Demand), with the existing amount of gas around (Supply).

The price usually drops after Labor Day, as Cuda said, but it has nothing to do with the elections.

Doesn't sto pthe GOP being a bunch of money grabbing Vagina's along the lines of your lcaol $200 whore, though.

What's classic is that Fox was called on their bullshit.
Faux News wrote:"On FOX News Sunday this week: Former President Bill Clinton brought together hundreds of influential heads of state, international policymakers, corporate heavyweights, and religious leaders this week to address major global challenges. We will sit down with the nation's 42nd president to discuss his second annual Clinton Global Initiative, as well as the Democrats chances of winning back Congress, and his wife's presidential aspirations.

"President Clinton recently said that he will have to live to be a 'very old man' if he is to accomplish as much out of office as he did during his eight years in the White House. But the former president has found a calling in confronting global challenges and raised billions of dollars toward solving issues like religious conflict, climate change, and global public health and poverty. We will discuss his success thus far in bringing together a wide range of partners, raising funds, and empowering individuals to cure many of the world's ills. In addition, we will gain his insights into the state of the war on terrorism, the upcoming midterm elections, and 2008 presidential politics."

Bubba's press agent was off camera DEMANDING the taping and the interview be ended immediately

Afterwards, he was overheard in the hallway SCREAMING at said press agent for putting him in that situation- and for not getting him out of it.

Yep, that sure sounds like he kicked Fox News's ass allright :giganticmeds:

Output was 4.39 million barrels a day and this month is the highest September average since 1982. Refiners used 93.4 percent of their plant capacity. A decline to 92.5 percent was expected by analysts.

``The production of distillates is just huge,'' New Wave's Mennis said. ``They are running the refineries flat out.''

Hmmmm Gas prices are dropping and yet the refiners are working overtime on capacity?

In Nov. I'll vote GOP, as I almost always do.......

I'm down with that Don't tax us thingy.

Just pointing out the obvious to the clueless regarding Bushy's approval rating rise correlating with the drop in pump prices.

Check back on my other predictions (Gas goes back to $2.50 by mid November and we somehow turn up OBL's corpse right before midetern elections)

The hearings on the hill are why they're doing this. Democrats wanted the oil industry executives to testify under oath, but the republicans blocked this. Gee, I wonder which party the oil industry would like to see in power?

Here's another thing while I'm wasting time on yo dumb ass... Why do you have a picture of a Kawasaki motorcycle in yer avatard? Are you some biker or something? Are you the return of Freddie Mercury?

Look, I don't call people faggots or other names because it's easy to do. I label them as such because the titles are appropriate. You sir, are a faggot and I want you to acknowledge it.

Calling other people homosexuals while noting your homoerotic fantasies, Nurse Wretched? That's rich!

And as far as making the world a better place to live....we democrats (or moderates, in my case) could do a lot better job than you right wing nutcases currently in power. And I'm betting that most of America will show they feel the same way at the midterms.

I am quite accurate when I say you are a homosexual faggot. I threw in the term "fagot" for no reason other than to make a point. So you "moderates" could do a much better job? Okay then, list you solutions to the problems you sandal wearing fruitcup. I've yet to hear ONE you goddamn fucking gimped piece of shit.

I have a solution for you though with you living so near the beautiful ocean and the abundance of quick drying cement being available. Figure that one out and do it.
