And rest assured that since this is Cal we're talking about here, they will.
Ummm... Cal found 4th gear, and you really don't want to see the 5th!!!
Seriously.
We'll see ya in L.A.!!!
Okay, since you're so fond of our beautiful state, especially
pictures of our beautiful state, let me take this down to where you'll understand it better.
First, off, there's this...
Notice, there's a long squiggly line between "Berkeley", just east of San Francisco and the Bay, and "Los Angeles", which is
waaaaaay to the south.
Cal plays in Berkeley. They're a right plucky little bunch when you get 'em amidst the strawberries and hirsute coeds.
USC, however, they play in Los Angeles. Big ol' place, full o' Thugs Aplenty, trophies by the buttload and, most importantly, a stadium called the Coliseum.
Now, pay attention here, this is important:

The Coliseum is not in Berkeley!
To get to the Coliseum from Berkeley, there are these things called "airplanes" and "busses". Cal uses both, depending on the marijuana haul that season and Cal's overall financial outlook for the given fiscal year...
Cal's administrators are really smart people. So, knowing what usually befalls Cal whenever they have to board a plane they go ahead and offer up the proper triage services right there on the plane. No waiting for them to get back home before the wounded are tended to, no sirree...
Cal's got a bitchin' plane...
Cool busses too. Even though it's a long drive down to L.A. Cal boards it right after kayaking practice...
Again though, even with such cool accoutrements like this Cal is still faced with the daunting prospects of this...
...which, as we in the Pac 10 all know all too well by now, induces riotous bouts of Cal players quite literally shitting the bed at the mere sight of it.
Look on the bright side, scared lil' cubbie. There's always '07, when you'll get to avoid all this nasty traveling business.
