Despite not being a big fan, I opted for the latter (not that anyone had offered me the choice). Dude was here in the building in which I work, delivering a speech to a group of interns. Met him on his way into the auditorium, shook his hand, returned to desk. Then again, I've shaken hands with AP, jtr, & Loganfan, so I'm obviously not terribly discriminating. Although I might draw the line at Cheney or Rove.

I hope he had the usual contingent of photo-journalists, camera crews, etc..who loves pub more than this guy??HClint.

Could've been because cameras aren't allowed in the building (DoD policy). But prolly more because he's just a swell guy who shuns the spotlight and wants to make a difference in the lives of America's youth.
