Men in general are physically superior in strength and quickness (duh) due to nature's design. Case in point: Every year in my highschool the freshman boys would play the varsity girls basketball team. The gymnasium would be packed with students and parents. You know when they cheered the loudest? When the varsity girls came within 10 points of the freshman boys.

Sweetest thing I ever saw at one of those was a freshman kid who started on the varsity boys' team dunking on the all-conference dyke on our girls basketball team. She tried to run alongside him after he stole a pass and get in front for the charge. He aired over the top of her, knocked her to the ground (she was running and got called for a block) and tomohawked jammed the ball.

He then hung on the rim briefly and dropped down with both legs straddled over her as she lay there on her back as if to say....that's what a real pair looks like bitch! He made the free throw and bulldyke sat out the rest of the scrimmage with an "injury" yea right. God that was epic!

Newsflash -- the weather in Portland is better than the weather on the Dryside for most of the year.

I think the law here is that you can play on another gender's team if there is no team in that sport for your gender. That means that girls can play on the boys' teams in football, wrestling or hockey. The only sports I can think of where boys could play on the girls' team would be softball and field hockey (also cheerleading, if you consider that a sport).

From a legal standpoint, considering gender equity and the like, that seems to make sense to me. However, as a parent, I wouldn't encourage it for either my son or my daughter.
