Here, let me help, various Newsweek covers from the same week from around the world:

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
- H.L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)

FTFY, since Dins is being difficult.
So, why would a "democrat mag" choose to not run a cover that revolves around an issue that the dems are running on, and is a "sore spot" of the pubs?
Because you're an idiot, that's why.
As a former US Representative once told me, "people who think the media is 'liberal' or 'conservative' are morons -- the only political affiliation the media has is to selling papers."
But then again, you fit in the "moron" category, so I can see how you could get confused by this.

Hmmm...let's think on this...
Somewhere around 70% of the country is now "anti-bush" at any given moment these days...hmmm....
I wonder if that's because of Newsweek, or if Newsweek takes that stance to...sell magazines?
Does it hurt to be this stupid?

The last time I checked it was more around 58-60% and those are the same polls that said Kerry was going to beat Bush by 6-7 % points. I dont take to kindly to those polls.
Aren't you the same dumbfuck who thinks NPR is controlled by the GOP?BSmack wrote:No, they're capitalists.Cicero wrote:Yeah, Newsweek isnt a Liberal mag.

Hey, here's a novel concept...why don't you boycott ALL media that insists on pandering for ratings by adopting the "it's US against THEM" mantra, and instead embrace that which takes a "we're all Americans, let's stick together" stance?
Because you're an unAmerican piece of shit, maybe?
Ever since the dumbasses voted in the Divider, this shit's outta hand.

Dear god, you're stupid.
No, you're unAmerican because you've bought into the "we" vs "you" mentality...and yes, those are direct quotes from you, since you're fucking stupid.
Do you even pay taxes Dins?
Not if I can fucking help it.
In times of less corruption, I gladly pay my share. In times like these of rampant misapropriated funds, and constantly diminishing public services in favor of special-interest pandering, I do what I can to avoid it. Let those who support the corruption pay the bill.

Doesn't exactly make it controlled by the GOP either, does it?Bizzardofelice wrote:NPR is run by a GOP leaning appointee, dumbass. Just because they don't cry and whine like FOX doesn't mean a place is run by Marxists.

I've often wondered that too. And once again, the rock-solidness of the mvscal-Nishlord rule is proven right; if the two of can agree on something, it must be incredibly true. You are a moron.mvscal wrote:Can't say that I'm all that surprised to see Sissyroo taking another ride on the plunger pony.
Why on earth you took the name of a man known for rhetorical brilliance is a question that can never be answered. We can only hope a latter day Marc Antony will happen by soon.

I'm still trying to work out what those covers mean. Did Newsweek slag America off behind its back, or do they generally dumb down for the American market?
“Culture. Sophistication. Genius. A little bit more than a hot dog, know what I mean?”
I rather fear you're right.
Someone needs to do a Newsweek for the Sissyroo type, possibly call Stuff That Happened While You Were Jamming Your Hand Up Your Ringpiece. Dot-To-Dot drawings of Osama bin Laden, an opportunity to colour in a picture of ImADinnerJacket, etc.

The most humorous part of this line is that it will be flying over Sissyroo like a geosynchronous satellite over the daylight skies of Florida.
Nish, who is it on the cover of the U.S. version?
Not that I give a fuck, but it's pretty important for American readers like Sissy, obviously, to know which celebrity they're following this week. *
* American magazines and television (sans public TV).
