The voice of the Kings since 1973, Bob Miller received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. A well deserved honor joining fellow broadcasters Vin Scully, and Chick Hearn (whose star is 4 stars away as Bob requested a spot as close to Chick, who hired him in 1973.) among others.

Bob has a book of tales in his 33 years with the Kings coming out this month.

What a great day. My wife has been working with Bob for the last 15+ years so we packed up the kids and went down for the ceremony this morning. A great day. Then we went to a special dinner that Bob had for about 100 people. I met a lot of the new Kings people. Mark Crawford, Ron Hextall, the new GM Lombardi etc....A special evening for a wonderful person. Congrats Bob, you deserve it. On another note my wife got mentioned in Bob's speech which was televised by FSN. Again, a special award for a special person. May he have many more years for us to listen to.
