Are they trying to out-ugly the Ducks?

Rack em for trying to beat Oregon at their own game.

It was amazing that Cal took over the human highlighter roll. I kept getting the teams confused because Oregon always has the worst uni's on the field.

I had a dream last night, which partially featured that game. A guy in a suit actually ran onto the field after Cal's win and presented them with a giant windchime. No joke.

Just look for the fake diamond plate on the shoulder pads. Oregon is the only team idiotic enough to incorporate that.
The again, Cal might try it next season.

Watch less Sparty football...it won't screw up your dreams as much.

They looked like a bad imitation of W. Virginia's unis...

Between Oregon and these new Cal unis, nope, it just doesn't get any worse than that.

Pick a decent uni. Stick with it.

Tradition, fuckers, ever heard of it?

They weren't as brutal as I thought but yellow isn't a good color for a jersey. I'm so glad Michigan hasn't done something stupid like go with a third jersey. Could you imagine them in anything other than their traditional home uniform? That's the problem with these shoe and apparel deals...you see the companies ignore traditional looks and take poetic license on the uniforms. (ie--Nike and Oregon) I know things aren't going to look the same forever but some uniforms should never be messed with...Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska...I can go on and on. Miami is the only major power that went bananas with new uniforms. Most of the traditional schools haven't messed with their old time look. Teams lose their identity with they change uniforms every few years. You should be able to flip on a random game and be able to know who's playing based on their colors, their helmets or their uniforms.

Even the old BYU unis/helmets were cool. Simple, but sharp.

They really went and fucked things up.

WVU doesn't wear a yellow jersey.

I don't know if you've seen them lately but they've gone back to the Ty Detmer/Steve Young unis...they dropped those weird two-toned bib things. That was a perfect example of a team that lost their identity when they made a drastic change to their uniforms. Those blue and white uniforms with the white helmet and blue oval with the Y...those were easy to identify. Why screw with that?

But they do wear blue and yellow, with a solid dark blue helmet and a yellow script logo. They were one of the original teams to sport the World Football League/Arena League/Denver Broncos stupid looking triangulated stripes, which Cal has now adopted.

True, they are very similar. I thought you were referring to the yellow jersey though. I have never seen WVU wear one, nor would I want to after seeing what Cal had out there.

Have they, huh? I did watch parts of the BYU-BC game, but guess I just don't remember that.

That's cool, then.

BYU's football page...the player photos are in the old school uniforms. Looks like a darker blue but the same design...

If only you could make a similar statement outside the conference, on the road.

The only time most people noticed Kal this season is when they were getting shitcanned in Knoxville.
