Ideas for 5 Year Wedding Anniversary

Only going 4 days and 5 nights. Looking for somewhere warm in February with a beach.

Been to Hawaii 3 times already
Been to Cabo San Lucas
Been to Cancun

I was thinking Cozumel, but it's still Mexico. I thought Aruba as well. Considering the Atlantis in the Bahamas. Willing to spend around $350/night but would prefer closer to $300 (insert Adam joke here).

Any ideas of a badass place to visit for a few days?

If you have the cash for The Atlantis, do it. The place is awesome. I visited it, but didn't stay there. Load with palces to eat and bars and shops, private beach and the water in the Bahamas is crystal blue and makes for good snorkeling & diving.

The Renaissance in Aruba was fantastic the last two times we went. The next time we head for the Caribbean, that’s where we’ll go. Go here:

http://www.applevacations.com/index.do?command=showHome

I punched in Feb 11 to Feb 15 from Indianapolis (puts you there for Valentine’s Day), and it’s $1,397 each, all-inclusive. I’d pony up the extra $244 per for the ocean view room, but that’s still close to your budget, and that includes all food and drinks.

When we were there last, they even poured Jack Daniels at no extra charge, and the wine they poured came from 750 ml bottles, not those 3 liter jugs that most resorts keep filling from some recycled oil drum.

Edit: Upon further review the Rnaissance has been renamed the OCCIDENTAL GRAND ARUBA, and is more like $1,900 each. I'm thinking that the New Renaissance is dowtown by the marine. I'd rather be out on the stretch of beach that the Occidental sits on. The Radisson is next door, and a little less pricey with a nice little casino.

Also a neat little open-air bar nearby on the beach (not affiliated with any resort) that has live music some nights.

Forget the vacation, just get her leather goods:

Boot in the ass and belt in the mouth.

My friend got married there, but me & the Mrs couldn't make it. If you can get there, it looks pretty nice and is pretty cheap for places right on the beach.

Or do what Fester said, he's Money!

I was going to suggest Rochester NY
---you could hook up with B-smack--
swill down some fine Genny beer--
go for a spin in his I-Roc-- check out
the booming economy of upstate NY
--then again
how about Sanibel Island !!!

Cheap male prostitutes are pretty much a requirement, I presume.

You should stay home and save your money since your likely to get divorced in another 2 years anyway, and then you won't have enough jack to go to the fucking zoo ...

Cruise, baby. Lots of ports in different locale's, legal gambling, she'll pound you to death it's so romantic, and you'll get some change out of that budget.

Mrs TTB and I went to NOLA this past weekend for our second anniversary and it was the best time we've ever had there. Granted, we never left the French Quarter. It's actually the best time to go. It felt far safer being down there than before Katrina. Nothing but greatful bar/shop owners just glad to have your business.
