ND defensive end Ronald Talley has left the team

He was the guy that OSU fans will remember from the Fiesta Bowl. He had cleate marks all over his back from the amount of times Pittman ran by/over him.
Anyway, that means that there are 8 players that remain from Ty's second full recruiting class. The one after the Quinn, Zbikowski, Samardzija, Abiamiari class.
There is a starting RB (Walker), starting LB (Crum), back-up LB (Vernaglia), and a back-up DB (Lambert). Those are the only players that see significant time. The rest are burried on the depth chart.
This is the class that should/will be the backbone of the team next year. The ironic thing is that when ND struggles next season, we'll get to see all the articles about how Weis can't win without Ty's players, look at how Weis struggled too, etc.
They'll be right. No coach can win without players. The majority of the players who will play next year will be sophs and freshmen. Awesome.
