Kansas on double secret probation

Post by War Wagon »

Nice wrist slap, NCAA.

You really showed what the penalty for a "lack of institutional control" entail these days.

Whatever, KU's athletic program has been exposed for being the low down dirty cheating rat bastards that I always knew them to be.

Mizzou fan is chortling quite heartily right about now.

yet the asshole in NC gets away scott free.

fucking amazing. coaches allow players to get paid, then runs to another program and allows old program to take the fall(if that is a fall :myles:

lets also add, that the pussy williams called ncaa on MU for illegal phone calls. nice job prick. what a fucking dickwad

An excerpt from Joe Posnanskis column today in the KC Star.
Meanwhile, the coaches blabbed on about the overwhelming size and ambiguity of the NCAA rulebook (Just for clarification: Giving athletes answers on tests is not allowed). The coaches tried to make violations sound like minor misunderstandings. They talked about how they just wanted to move on.

I can't fucking wait to rub this shit in every squawks fan face that I come across all festooned in their filthy ku gear.

They're a dime a dozen.

The football was the really dirty deal. That was the "academic fraud" part of the equation and what Joe Posnanski was talking about. The other really bad deal was the lack of a full-time compliance officer under Al "compliance doesn't sell tickets" Bohl. These were the two parts that really upset me as an alum.

The basketball stuff was pretty small potatoes. The gifts were insignificant and after a player had graduated. It is amazing that the previous coach and AD (who won't have another job and can't be punished) get off with nothing, while the current coach and players pay the penalty, which lets face it, isn't stiff at all. In my opinion the football team got off VERY easy, men's basketball probably got hit a bit too hard and the women's team got jobbed. But those are just opinions. Frankly KU, Mizzou, Oklahoma and Colorado have nothing to be proud of these last few years. It's only a third of the Big 12....not too bad. Ugh.
