It's a little late I know, but the deadline isn't until 5 minutes before each game starts. I don't know if Frisco wants to use this or not, but here's an option if you guys are itching to do some picks. I'm suggesting we try this. You pick against the spread and it's easy to see who wins each week. Having run a movie pool each summer, I can certainly relate to how time consuming it is, especially if you're not doing well yourself. You lose all motivation to do it. So here's the group.

Deadlines are 5 minutes prior to each game. Otherwise, I could change it to 5 minutes before the first game, but that can screw you if the deadline is Friday night.

Sort of. I took it upon myself to create one.

You can also combine confidence points in with them, too. that can keep it a bit more competive when there are 100 or so points to win each week, instead of only 15. Anyone who is 10 points up after a few weeks doesn't have to try real hard to stay there.

I'm in one of those yahoo games and the 5 min before each game is a good option, especially if a key player is questionable in a close match up.

This is not to compete with the other Pick 'Em. Rather just another way to enjoy the day. Next year we'll start this out right from week one and promote it more.
