74-74 KU @ Tech at the start of 2OT.

This is why I like the Bill Self style of KU basketball... this team might not have played its best, but they're not running out of gas like a Roy Williams KU team would have... much better conditioning.

Rack Tech's effort, though!

Fantastic game.

I had a feeling KU wasn't going to pull it off, until they got ahead in the 2nd OT ... then that fucker hits a 3.

I think I heard Okie State fans down the road cheering.

Great college basketball game. When TT kept missing FT's to extend the game, I thought the Jayhawks would escape with the W. Excellent effort by both squads.

It felt good to watch real basketball being played for a change, instead of the IU games I torture myself with.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

It was a good game with good effort on the part of both teams. Both teams played nice defense and executed fairly well. It was fun to watch.

That kid for Tech made a hell of a shot at the end of the game!

Those guards for TT are really quick. The zone slowed them down, but they are a tough matchup for just about anybody.

Fun game to watch....even if the wrong team won!

Radiofan,

Yes, you heard a few Okie State fans cheering, and I was one of them.

Same fans, including me, know real well that Tech coming to GIA on Saturday is one of the best chances the Cowboys have for a home loss in a long time. That is going to be one huge game and I have a feeling that Tech is going to play it as tough as they played KU.

And I probably won't even get to see it, will be in Corpus Christi with my kid's Scout troop for the long weekend. We land in CC airport right around the time the game starts and even if our luggage is where it is supposed to be, will arrive at the hotel by halftime at best with beach time planned right away. I'm going to check the game anyway, and may just send my kid off with the other parents and stay there to watch what is left of it!
