KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - Two young Indonesian brothers attacked by wasps died in a Malaysian state after adults who saw them being chased by the swarm locked them out of a room to prevent getting stung themselves, news reports said Monday.
Aziz Rahman, 3, and his 4-year-old brother Fazrul were playing with their friend Nuri Mestinal at a palm oil plantation near Sibu in central Sarawak when they hit a wasps' nest Sunday afternoon, the New Straits Times reported.
The boys ran toward the plantation canteen screaming for help with the wasps close behind, the paper said.
Plantation workers sitting in the cafeteria locked the door after seeing the swarm approaching, and only emerged after the wasps had left, the national news agency Bernama said.
The plantation workers found the brothers unconscious when they opened the door, the New Straits Times said.
---------------------------------------
Their friend ended up surviving the attack, but the two toddlers were killed by the wasps. Don't know much about Malaysian law, but in the USA, I'd at least think this would be involuntary manslaughter. Either way, whoever shut that door is one cold fucking human being.

Ironically, it reminded me of those old black and white WWII movies. The Japanese dive bombing plane that sent that nasty torpedo into either the ship/submarine always led to that scene that scared me:
The water is rising and the men scamper in an attempt to seal off the water leak. The water gets higher so the men run to the next compartment only to see the water proof sealed door go closed. The water rises above the porthole window and you see one of the sailors blow out his last bubbles while another sailor floats by.

You're celebrating the death of a 3 and 4 year old.
But, oh yeah, it's your freedom they hate.

Maybe you just don't get it. Hell, I'm starting to think nobody around here gets it anymore. The folks around here used to be vicious, cruel, and downright inhuman. Most people have softened in recent years.
I for one, still applaud a good cold hearted crack!
So again, RACK!
And a hearty fuck you, as well!

No, folks around here used to find
irreverence funny. That's slightly distasteful - but humour is entirely
subjective, yes?

So their age is the issue? had they been 16 it would be funny? 4 year olds blowing up isn't irreverant, it's off limits?

Well if they actually blew up, it would be funny and irreverent - but they didn't do that, did they?

No, folks used to revel in being the sickest mofos around. Stuff like "I suppose I should give you limited props for dodging a coat hanger for nine months" and the like.

You're a little confused. We're making jokes about animals who have little or no regard for human life.
You're making jokes about a human who was killed by those very same animals.
Get it now, Marty tardy?
