are stupid. just enjoy the game, asshole. no need to block everyone else's view just so you can waste a bedsheet and get on TV for two seconds. I hope everyone that got on TV because Fox showed their sign is cursed with the voice of Tim McCarver forever doing color commentary on their life.

I think that the morons who also sit in the stands after their team loses, with towels over their heads, moping, crying and generally looking dejected are a bunch of idiots as well.

Your team lost.... sit there a minute or 2, watch the other team celebrate at bit, and be glad you got to attend a major playoff game, and then get up and walk the fuck out of there.

Some of those people last night looked like they were ready to jump off the upper deck. Some are probably swinging from their shower rods right now.

Fucking losers....the Mets choked with the bags full, they lost . Get on with life....

word. and when Hardball was on the road the college students came up with some good signs. I remember once a bunch of people dressed up like dolphins in the background of some midwestrn school. good stuff.

Yeah...that's what I'm gonna' do.... hold up a sign that says something gay like "WE BELIEVE" or "STILL BREATHIN'" or "EMMIT SMITH FOR PRESIDENT!" Just dumb. Somthing a little more cryptic like those Lee Corso induced "Baby Arm" or "Merkin" signs seen on ESPN GameDay broadcasts are a bit more creative. Those are fairly inside though, spawned by an afternoon sportsradio show in Dallas. Then again others have to go over the top with "Lee Corso is a PENIS." Like Corso himself, pretty weak.

"The People Behind Me Can't See" was pretty funny.

College hockey fans from Harvard used to all pull out newspapers and read while the opposing teams were introduced.

I always wished that the sign-holding moron at Philadelphia Flyer games would take a puck to the face.

It was back in the Flyer's glory years. No one brought signs to games except for the rainbow wigged dude with his "John 3:16."

There was always some curly headed fukkwad at the Flyers games who sat right behind the glass and held up a stupid sign after every goal. The signs weren't funny or clever -- just kind of "I'm a dumbshit holding a sign."

If it makes you feel better, Fester, Rollen Stewart is currently serving three life sentences for kidnapping in CA.

Tried to find a pic with the john 3:16 sign, but I don't think any exist on the net.

More like role model.

You really need to find Christ, brother, because if you don't
I'll hold you at gunpoint in a hotel room until I get a TV interview.

In general I agree, but the "Babe got his on hot dogs and beer" will ALWAYS have me laughing.

The full sign read- "“Babe Ruth did it on hot dogs and beer, Henry Aaron did it with class. How did you do it?”

For all the negative stories about Philly fans, we manage to get a little creative with things..

Some proper football ones;

Galatasaray of Turkey have the maddest fans in Europe. When Leeds played them in the Champions League, they had a massive banner that said; WELCOME TO THE HELL.

Two weeks later, in the return match, Leeds had one which read; WELCOME TO CIVILISATION.

When Paul Gascoigne joined Lazio, the fans mistakenly produced a banner which read GAZZAS BOYS, WE ARE HERE, SHAKE YOUR WOMEN AND DRINK YOUR BEER. They'd misread 'Shag' for 'shake'. Another banner from opposing fans read; PAUL GAZZA FAT POOFTA.

My all-time favourite was from Real Madrid fans after their season turned to shit. It was unfurled at the training ground(!) and read; FOR YOU, WHORES AND MONEY. FOR US, INDIGNATION AND REPRESSION.
