Vote for Steele or I'll eat your children!

Post by BSmack »

Michael Steele's latest supporters? None other than Iron Malik Tyson and Don King. Safe to say he's scraping the bottom of the barrel. I guess only a boxer/rapist could look up to a politican as a "moral person".
Mike Tyson wrote:"I don't want him to jeopardize his career for me," he said. "He's just such a moral person. Boxing attracts scum. Being around him was a breath of fresh air."

According to the linked article, Steele’s campaign neither sought nor welcomed the endorsement. I see no mention whatsoever of Don King. Does the Spin Zone have their own T.R.O.T.S.?

I know plenty. I've organized and worked on at least 10 campaigns that I can remember off hand.

Goobs,

Read this link.

And, in the WAPO article...
Also this week, the lieutenant governor secured the support of another controversial boxing figure, promoter Don King, who offered this endorsement: "I must have an indictment list longer than his awards list."
BTW: Where's the fuckin humorists on this board. Can't anybody else imagine Tyson's potential campaign pitches?

Then why didn’t you put that link in your original post? And it’s still not newsworthy.

Sorry to hear about the shitty quality of people you have running for dogcatcher and county clerk in upstate New York.

The only hope UNY will ever have is if the entire state constitution is rewritten...that's completely unlikely or nearly so.

Because Kings support was already referenced in the WaPo article. But, apparently the big words scared you off reading the whole article, so I posted the Fox News link which seems more your speed.
And it’s still not newsworthy.
No, it's fucking hilarious.

No doubt you have the same level of greed and mendacity in Wisconsin.

Marion Barry endorsed him?
I'd take a crackhead over a rapist. Not by much.

I sincerely doubt it. I live in God's country. You live in the upper reaches of Hell.

Sorry about the misunderstanding regarding King, but I thought it was a one-page article. But still, Steele’s campaign neither sought nor welcomed the endorsement of either of those two clowns. I still say you can't fault Steele for Tyson and King's endorsements. Anymore than you could fault a Democrat for drawing Fred Phelps' endorsement.

I've got more than a couple of apostrophes in this post. I hope Dinsdale don't have to run me.

Asked what to make of Steele's eclectic backers -- who include White House aide Karl Rove and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons -- Matthew A. Crenson, a Johns Hopkins University political science professor, sighed deeply. "This guy has a very strange collection of friends," he replied.
I laughed. Sounds like Marcus Allen may have a position available for him in Johns Hopkins' poli sci department.

You must have Rochester confused with New York City. A lot of you out of staters tend to do that. I won't hold it against you.

Steele's toast anyway. I just found the idea of Don King and Mike Tyson campaigning for him to be pretty freakin funny.

Didn't you hear? Dinsdale got run by Poptart.
