Start of the 2nd quarter now and thinking about hopping in my car and headin' down to Heinz field. I'd get there by halftime, easily.

Wife and I are pissed at each other... I shoulda just bailed out on the rest of the day to watch Pitt hopefully continue their losing ways. Now, I gotta find a way to avoid her. Maybe just go to a bar somewhere.

Thanks for reading this inanity.

That was a good game. Rutgers is getting pretty strong right now and that should bode well for their games with Louisville and @WVU.

Hell you should go to any college game that you can. I hate Cougar High more than any of you will ever know, but I have been to two games this season. What with TiVo there is no reason not to take in a live game anytime.

Schiano is a hell of a coach, I really hope he sticks with his baby and doesn't take the Miami job. Between WV, 'ville, and Rutgers the East shouldn't have trouble keeping BCS-status.

We will see how good of a coach Schiano is next season. He loses 7 guys off the defense and then Leonard, Harris and more than half the offensive line. One of the big reasons for their success is the play of a senior laden OL. They are huge.

Rack Schiano. I'm rooting for him.

This was undoubtably TROTS material. A few posts by you guys saved its tail end.

FWIW, I agree lefty. I should have gotten up off my sorry ass and went. I really try to avoid Pitt at all costs, but it's hard to beat watching them lose in person. Watched Michael Vick do it some 5,6,7, years ago or whatever here in the 'burgh. Good times.

Instead, I headed to the local joint near me watched the end of the Pitt game on one TV, Game 1 on another, and the Penguins on a third. Blue Cheese burger w/side of baked beans, 2 Penn Pilsners and one house brew.

Maybe I did make the right choice. I was away from the wife afterall.

Been there myself a few times. Of course, taking off sans any of the rugrats with me usually means that it's worse when I come back home:

At least you got a break for a little while. You left me here all alone with the kids.

Good for you. Gave her a chance to bang one of the real men in the neighborhood.

Yeah, no kidding, TiC. I get the same when I return from biz trips.
