'duhs v. 'burgh

Oakland has played IN Shittsburgh the last 4 times the teams have played.
Verrah nice to get them IN Oakland for a change.
Not verrah nice to get them in Oakand when Oakland .... well, .. BLOWS.
Then again, maybe last week this team turned the corner ..... or something.
The defenses figure to have the edge for the most part in this game, IMO.
Yeah, yeah, I know Pitts lit up ATL for 38 last week ... whatever.
Oakland's defense has done an admirable job this year, but I still see them as being slightly soft up the middle v. the run.
Even though Pittsburgh has not gotten off with the running game like they'd like this year, I'm pretty sure they'll do their best to keep pounding away on Sunday.
I don't have much confidence in Oakland getting a lot going offensively v. the Steeler defense.
Key is to stay out of 3rd and long and avoid turning the ball over.
Punt.
Punt.
Punt.
Punt.
Ok ...... just don't LOSE this game and maybe the Oakland defense can keep it close enough that 'we' find a way to eek out a W.
Stranger things have happened.
Remember Lovett and Roberts ... ?
I'd like to call the upset but don't have faith in the Raider offense not to shoot itself in the foot.

If Ben is OK, I see this as pretty comfortable win. Pittsburgh's defense will probably set up a tent in the 'Duh's backfield.

Just curious, but don't you feel a little gay having Ed Hocculi as your Avatar?
And I disagree with your post about the easiest win of th Chins life. I think the Raiders will come ready to play and if Big Ben is hurt, than this game will only be that much closer. There's no doubt that Pitt is the better team, but I think the Raider defense has played fairly well the entire season and should keep it close. If Randy gets on a roll, watch out, the raiders may sneak out a win.

Not at all- Edward Hocculi is a guy I look up to and hope to one day emulate. His exercise regimen is second to none among the best of the best in pro football refs, and frankly I wanna look just like that dude when all is said and done. Don't try to stop me DF- I'm on a mission this time, and I fully intend on getting there.

Here ya go Paul.
Ed Hocculi's exercise program
Not sure about that diet program though. You might want to cut out the instant oatmeal. And it looks like he's bucking for a Chunky Soup deal.
For breakfast I'll have instant oatmeal and then as a mid-morning snack, a banana. Lunch will be chicken salad or canned chicken and instant rice, and for dinner, three nights a week I have sushi. I love sushi. Three nights a week I have chicken noodle soup -- I eat a lot of chicken because it's protein without too many calories. The soup is my own recipe, something I made up over the years. Once a week I'll have a big salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and broccoli.
I don't eat red meat, but I love snack food. I'll have Cheetos when I'm feeling sorry for myself. Cheetos and chocolate kisses are my weakness. The only supplement I take is whey protein. I have a protein drink with about 40 grams of protein, almost every day. On lifting days, I might have two.

I do pretty much all of that stuff except for the sushi
Yeah, the problem is that you do pretty much all that stuff right before you sit down to breakfast.

KC Paul 3.0 wrote:I do pretty much all of that stuff except for the sushi- I won't fucking TOUCH seafood with a 50ft. pole. I substitute chicken in place of sushi. Oh, and Cheetos suck too- sorry to disappoint, haters.
My diet is a little more intense. Here's the quick sample breakdown. Obviously it's not exactly the same every day.
Breakfast- 1/2 cup no fat cottage cheese, 1/2 cup sugar free applesause, 1 tablespoon organic peanut butter
Lunch- Salad with 1 cup lettuce, 1/2 cup chopped carrots, 1/4 cup chick peas, 1/8 cup vineger& olive oil dressing
Afternoon snack- 1 cup grapes, 2 sticks string cheese, 6oz roasted peanuts
Dinner- Chicken and Veggie Stir Fry
Mix in with 10-12 glasses of water a day.
Oh, and I do 3 days of circuit and 6 days of cardio. My downfall is weekend beer consumption. Gotta chill that out if I ever want to get really rocked up.
Oh, and the Steelers are going to kick the shit out of the Raiders. 42-7 is my guess.

Lemme see, he's played DI ball, is a name partner in his law firm, has run 12 marathons and pulls down a mid six figure salary working "part time" as a referee.
Sounds like a goal oriented guy if I ever heard of one.

I guess I just figured there are so many other ways to pile on Paul. Why pile on him for something halfway positive in his life when there are so many negatives still out there?

The team that protected the ball and played more disciplined, penalty free ball won.
In other words, the Steelers somehow managed to out Raider the Raiders.
Damn, 92 YARDS of total offense and the Raiders WIN?
Props guys. If you get 10 more gifts like that you're in the playoffs.

I can't RACK the Oakland defense enough.
They're young, hungry, and destined to only get BETTER.
If they're able to add just a couple more quality guys in the off-season they're gonna be hell on wheels.
Lovin' it.

I'll tell you how. The Chiefs couldn't stop the run or run the ball themselves. And the Steelers didn't gift wrap any points for them either.

It may be so but it was easily the most entertaining game of the year for this Raiders fan. The Raider's D has shown signs of improvement all along and keeps getting better. At least one side of the ball came to play. The problems persist on the O-line and the QB is still raw so any hopes of riding a strong winning streak look a million to one. I've resigned myself to a poor season by the Silver & Black so any game like this is pure bonus.

They're the Chiefs. They fucking suck.
Bschmuck, how did that Defensive Raider Dick feel pounding your chocolate apple jack, bitch?
Suck it, slunt-you and your fraud squad have been exposed for the posuer assed gameless pussies that you are after facing a
real defense. Enjoy the many creases on your chin from the Raider ballsack resting firmly on it.
