Latest AP-AOL News poll shows a landslide Democratic victory

I might have to take 11-8 off. Looks like I'll be drinking a lot of lite beer that Teusday.

Just like the ones showing that epic landslide victory for Lurch Kerry.
Not even close. The best spread Kerry ever had was nowhere near what's being projected for Dems this go around.

The GOP has been dumping millions just to try to save districts that have been voting GOP for years. What does that tell you?

Should Rove pull a rabbit out of his hat, I'll get over it. But when I look at Bush's approval rates and the insanely low GOP Congressional approval rates AND I see millions of dollars being pumped into districts in Western NY that have been GOP strongholds for decades, I don't need a weatherman to tell me which way the wind blows.

More specificly, if the Dems get Tom Reynolds' and Randy Kuhl's districts, it is totaly fucking over. Those two districts were as safe as you could ever gerrymander for a GOP candidate. At least until this year.

Please. A single dusty envelope shows up mysteriously on the day before the election, and you'll all shit your FruitOfTheLooms
and vote GOP.
You know it and I know it.

From what I know about the town that my g/f came from in WNY & the completely crappy economy in that area I'd be highly suprised if a dem didn't win.

My guess is she's from either Buffalo or Niagara Falls. Those are both Democratic strongholds. But the districts I am refering to are predominantly rural and suburban areas whose GOP leanings go back to the 19th century.

Yep. The two reddest districts in the state, without question.

You're right about the GOP leanings in both districts. But trust me, the economy in those districts is, if anything, worse than Buffalo or Niagara Falls.

Sin,

Someone who lives in the rural portion of Reynolds' district and commutes to Buffalo area for work

Chautauqua County narrowed it down pretty significantly. Jamestown isn't the county seat, but it's far and away the largest city/town in Chautauqua County, not that that's saying much.

I very nearly moved there about a decade or so ago. I interviewed for a position with Chautauqua County Legal Services, and got called back for a second interview. But then they wound up pulling the position and not hiring anybody when they got hit with a cutback in funding for Legal Services Corp.

Right, because we really wouldn't want to see Congress actually doing the job of oversight.

The administration may actually have to work with lawmakers, instead of having a rubber stamp.

The horrah.

In fact, why wait. Just do yourself and the rest of us a favor and kill yourself now.

I guess there's no point in doing the actual voting then, right?

If AP/AOL knows so fucking much, we'd better just let them tell us who our rulers will be
