Does someone want to tap them on the shoulder and let them know there's a game in Lubbock going on?

Some of the top teams have been slow-starters the last couple of weeks...it's not easy to come back from down 3 or 4 scores on the road. Bad drop just now by Sweed...

Hey, I'm not doubting Texas will find a way to pull it out (this IS taco tech we're talking here), but I was fairly surprised to flip over to TBS and see that score.

Plus, nobody started a thread on this yet.

Which I'm assuming is due to:

UT went down 10-0 to Baylor two weeks ago and took control.....but 24-7 is a different kettle of fish.

this is as porous as i've seen a Chizik UT D.

6 min left in half.

Wow, one minute you're executing an excellent passing drive, and the next your lead is cut to 3.

And that's why you're Texas Tech.

Tech coming rapidly back to earth.

Good lord, Tech can sure get down the field quick.

This is some sloppy, pinball-like football, but it sure can be fun to watch.

Damn I knew the Texas secondary was suspect all year but this is pathetic. Harrell already has thrown for over 350 yards before half. And I don't care how many injuries Texas has. With the recruiting and talent level on the bench someone should be able to defend at least one pass. The only drives Tech has not scored on were a fumble and a review screw job from the officials. I didn't think Texas would go undefeated the rest of the year, but Tech is giving them fits. I figured this one a win and Okie State would pull the upset next week.

Shit. Nebraska nearly beating Texas last week might not be as impressive as I thought. With USC losing, I hope Texas pulls this one out to help the S.O.S. for the Huskers. And they still have to play a tough Okie State team next week.

NOT HAVING FUN!

I was thinking the reverse of you Husker4ever. After seeing OSU beat Neb today I was thinking besides Ohio State, Texas has not played anyone that good.

Texas is playing like they are due for a loss, you can only play down to the level of you opponent for so long before you get burned. There is still another half of football to be played but right now they don't belong in a BCS game.

Ya could be right Camp. After USC went down and a possible Texas loss to Taco Tech, Nebraska might be a fraud about to get stomped by Mizzou. Damnit!!!

I also really love how tons of Longhorn fans and local radio hosts continually bash OC Greg Davis and praise Gene Chisik for being a top notch DC. Looks like his unit is not prepared for the same TT offense they have run for how many years? Did someone get an idea that TT might have gone to the wishbone or something. How the hell can a team get burned on almost every freakin play?

Too many fucking reviews in one game much? Good lord!

Agree on the reviews, it made the game unwatchable.

Colt is a witch, this was the best performance for a Texas QB not named TJ I have ever seen.

If Vince is Touchdown Jesus, then Colt is St Peter of the TD.

YOU HEAR THAT BRANTLEY? COLT MCCOY IS GOING TO BE THE STARTER AT TEXAS FOR THREE MORE YEARS! COME SOMEWHERE YOU CAN START BEFORE YOU'RE A JUNIOR!
Nice  I hope you don't beg that way to your old lady....

Colt is the real deal. That kid has heart. I was not a believer at the beginning of the season. I thought that Jevan would be starting by now. Colt has made me believe.

Wow, I'm speechless. Can't believe they pulled that one out, especially after the Charles fumble after a huge 4th down stop. McCoy is really looking to be a good QB. He did a few VY impressions tonight to scramble for yardage. And his 3rd down run to seal the deal was sweet. Take away his pick for 6 and he was really solid. Now I'm still worried about a defense that gave up 519 yards passing. Doesn't matter about the -1 rushing total because 519 yards is pathetic.

:barf:

I hope I never read anything like that ever again.

It wasn't the Chicago Bears. It was fuggen Taco Tech.

...and a battered OU...and a mediocre Nebraska...and a bunch of hopeless shleps with weather vanes in their school logos. ('sup, Stranded Texan... :-) )

Colt's played only one really good team so far, and he lost that one.

Eeeeeeeasy there, tiger. Hoovering that hard, best watch it before dude's bell end gets caught on your frayed epiglottis...

Prime, oh sure, mock!

Mock away, ya' heartless visigoth.

Just remember....I'm not the grown man gushing biblical about nineteen year old tow headed boys named "Colt".

Oh, and while we're being topical and all, I believe you owe Bace and the 314 some Vito-Colt treatment.

You may now proceed apace.

I already did that and Frisco tried to run me when he was drunk. I was like "I thought we were cool since you're sending me BBQ sauce" and he's all "QUIT ROOTING FOR THEM YOU SCUMASS FUCK YOU MAN!" Those weren't exactly his words but it's in the Baseball forum that I am king of.

I logged off and almost quit the internet. I can only take so much.

BTW- visigoth- I have no idea what that even is. I'm pretty sure you're making words up now.

I'm pretty happy with the Colt. I've never :swooned: a freshman QB as much as I do him.

Oh and BTW- I became a Godfather last night at 9:28 PM fyi. How scary is that?

Run down the list of mooks you had killed while you were soullessly dabbing the big belt buckled little tyke on the head with your heathen water.

Apropos cosa nostra nics would be appreciated too.

Fucking Texas...

I couple of breaks go the right way the last two weeks and OU is in the driver's seat for the Big 12 South. Oh well, I guess that's why 'bode is 'bode.

Congrats to the UTerus contingent here. Your team is nails in the clutch and McCoy is a witch.
