PSU's defense is starting to put it together. The offense is far behind. I suppose none of us would be too shocked at this.
I blamed the conservative approach to playcalling for the woefully inept offense against Illinois. Watching the players against Purdue, I now understand why Paterno cut down the playbook.
PSU WRs have some kind of disease. They dropped anything thrown their way yesterday. Morelli is coming along OK...but now he's where other decent PSU QBs have recently been, watching guys let balls hit them in the numbers.
PSU is once against a very talented team...but the talent refuses to play along.
Losses to ND, OSU, and UM...well, I can live with that. The Wisconsin game at Madison will be a big test for the defense.
We now return to our regular scheduled programming.
