Concertgoer pelts Babs with beverage

Barbra Streisand's politics didn't find a wholly agreeable crowd during her Monday concert at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.

As Babs traded political barbs with a George W. Bush imitator, a fan of the songstress who apparently disagreed with her politics pelted her with a beverage. And as her anti-GOP riff ended, another man in the crowd found himself being escorted out of the center as he shouted at Streisand.

Streisand shrugged both incidents off, saying some people would do better to buy her records than come to her shows.

A similar scenario unfolded during Streisand's concert earlier this month at Madison Square Garden in New York, during which the singer used the F-word in shouting down a heckler.


This nasty bitch is entitled to her politics, but she insults the idiots that pay to go see her shows. I would not go see this cunt in concert if it was being held in my living room and it was free.

With the nationwide coverage the shows in NYC recieved, anybody who goes to her shows not expecting this political bit to be in the show is a fucking moron. So if it offends you that much, don't buy the fucking ticket. And if you did buy the ticket, might I direct you to Stub Hub?

I mean, sure, Babs (not babs) is right about the Chimp, Cheney, and Rummy being heinous criminals who have initiated a catastrophic disaster--and should immediately be jailed and tried for international war crimes, etc.--but really, if anyone deserved an hour-long golden shower from a couple hundred residents of Skid Row, it's her.

apparently there were no such incidents at the Tornto concert (read reviww, didn't go, BTW.).

Could it be the entire Air canada audience agreed with the joke?

Can American have gone so far as to enrage the infamously timid, frightened crouching Canadians?

It can also been done a bit more correctly. At the CSNY concert, the message was clear, and the messenger (s) did a good job of getting it across. They did not even have a W impersonater. That would have taken from the message.

They got respect as they gave it. Babs takes away from her message with the theatrics aimed at her.. fucking cunt...
