Your MVPs so far.
Offensive: Tom Brady(without a top flight reciever this guy is putting up the numbers yet again)
Defensive: Shawne Merrimon(roids or not the guy has been dominant).
Defensive: Shawne Merrimon(roids or not the guy has been dominant).
Al Davis=Fidel Castro
I'd put Urlacher over Merriman. That is a very good football team in Chicago but take out #54, they aren't nearly as dominant. Briggs is a great player but he's better when the focus is put on Urlacher. I can't really argue with the Brady pick. Manning is having another great year without James in the backfield and he's been without Stokely for most of the season.

You mean the part where "so far" Merriman has been busted for steroids and is looking at a 4 game suspension?ChargerMike wrote:...you must have missed the part where it said "SO FAR"BSmack wrote:MVPs don't miss 4 games because they're dumbasses. Try again.ChargerMike wrote:Off..LT

Yea, I got that. Merriman's a stud, but he ain't MVP material. MVP's don't leave their team in a lurch like that.
Furthermore, Urlacher is the physical and spiritual leader of the league's best defense, a defense that has allowed 5 TDs in 7 games.
BTW: I wouldn't even rate Merriman #2 in the defensive MVP voting. That vote would go to Julius Peppers.

Mrs. Husky must have given him the checkbook and permission to hit up the bakery section.
Husky, you didn't even name your MVP's and yet you come in here gripping as usual anyway.
Come on slappy get to searching for some good MVP takes. Or spend your time with the cute little girlie colors and nonsense you keep posting day after day.

This is AFC WestFan we're talking about here...I don't think they realize there are 28 other teams in the NFL.
Merriman so far is having a great year but the drug suspension really has to slow down any MVP talk. To throw another name into the mix...Ray Lewis deserves some props. The Ravens are third behind the Bears and Bolts in yards allowed and they are tied with Chicago for most takeaways. Lewis has two picks, a fumble recovery, 6 pass defenses and a sack...plus he's 12th in tackles.
Offense: LaDanian Tomlinson
Defense: Rhonde Barber
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Offense...
AFC: LaDanian Tomlinson (LT).
NFC: Rex Grossman.
Out of the 2.. I choose LaDanian Tomlinson as Offensive MVP.
I am a Patriot's Fan and Tom does deserve to be considered but as of today, I would give the MVP edge to
LaDanian Tomlinson. Peyton Manning is also in the running.
Grossman and McNabb are solid choices for NFC MVP.
*************
Defense:
AFC: Pick - Jason Taylor or Keith Bullock
NFC: Rhonde Barber
Merriman would be the AFC MVP and NFL MVP if it weren't for the little steroid thing...
Urlacher is a definite Leader and MVP Choice but he does not have the NUMBERS that the other players have..
Tackles, Solo Tackles, Sacks, INTs...
Trivia: When is the Last time a Defensive player won the Associated Press MVP??
Who was that Player??
Additional who were the 2 other Defensive Players to win this award??
- Extra Credit if you know this without browsing the Internet.

After 12 games, he'll be a distant memory. All because he failed a doping test 4 weeks ago.
No MVP for you.

We still have this decision to make. That is just peachy for me. This is about Most Valuable Player not breaking records. The next 3 games will decide who is most valuable, Drew or LT. No doubt we would not be where we are without LT.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:LT decided it FOR YOU yesterday.trev wrote:Drew Brees or LT.
I can't decide.
Just remember the restaining order Brees dropped on you, and you'll see the light.

Eat a dick, Chargertards.
..better look a little closer RJ....in 4 less games Merriman was in on 2 less combined tackles, had 7 more solo tackles, had 2 1/2 more sacks and 1 less int....yea, sure looks like Taylor by a mile..muhahahahaha...bitter Raiduhfan doing the only thing he can do.

Fuck Merriroid, there isnt anything he can do at this point to overtake the defensive player award from going to Taylor or Urlacher.
Better luck next year, Charger chumps.

The only question left is whether these fairy dust sweating faggots smoked the skin snorkels of the porn band who made the "San Diego Superchargers" fight song before or after that "performance".
