One 22 oz bottle of this nectar and I'm already feeling real happy.
Good thing I only have 3 left.

That one bottle of Double Bastard prolly cost as much as a sixer of your Beast Light, and prolly has as much alcohol too.
(and tasted a lot better)
and ditto on the Vet's day wishes, tomorrow.

Quaffed a coupla Double Bastard myself last weekend...or the weekend before...fuck, I don't remember.
More of a barleywine than an ale I'd say, and has a hint of that winey flavor you get with all super-high test brews(different yeast), but overall, pretty drinkable for a to-the-point beer.
Might make you poo funny, though.

"Funny" as in some sort of irregular consistancy, or "funny" as in it's accompanied by such ridiculous noises that you can't help but chuckle?
Actually, don't answer that.

Cheap vodka and hot horny chicks.
I'm not even sure if I'm in the right thread.
I
do know that we've had over 9,000 lightning strikes this evening.
Oh yeah, we also had over 25 inches of rain in a week during the month on Oct. I think I'll ride on the wings of one these giant Culex mosquitoes to the shower house, now that it's down to the low 80's or 70's at around 10pm this evening.
Did I mention cheap vodka and cheaper chicks?
Time for another drink...
My bad... close to 10,000 strikes over the last 6 hours.

isn't a 12 pack a bit much to be drinking all at once?

I'm not so sure you should be calling him "pretty"

I was going to say a case. Aren't you feeling a bit charitable?

I really want to crack on Stone Brewing, based solely on their location, but I can't. One of the few non-U&L craft breweries worth a damn.
And then, there's
Ten different varieties of hops in Fred (all Hair Of Dog brews have proper names).
Grubbin stuff. Really expensive, too, but it's not like anyone is going to drink that many.

took advantage of this ridiculously nice weather and went for a motorcycle ride this evening with a buddy. We stopped for dinner and had a coupla Sam's winter ales.
I think I have a new favorite brew.
