yeah, you've really kicked our ass the last two times, and Dr. Tom had a GREAT record against Switzer.

5-12. bitch.

Thanks Brad, for shredding the remaining good will between NU fans and OU fans.

Personally, I have no problem with OU fans and their team, but the shots they take at my team leave me baffled. Jesus, you guys show Texas fan more respect around here lately.

Well, I personally can't stand your cocksucker of a coach either, so the feeling is mutual.

It all goes back to that game doesn't it?

I understand the cursing... kind of... considering the crowd was booing because NU had the gall to try and gain some confidence by not being shut out instead of laying down, but we'll agree to disagree.

But how did Callahan try to end a tradition? I think he just complained about how close your Ruffnecks were to our team and how they were firing their popguns at our players or was there more? Just curious.

At Large: you posted on this here board that Dr. Tom never ran the option to the short side of the field. to me, that says you don't know what you are talking about.

Callahan has lost to OU twice and made an ass of himself both times.

What really angered me about that first game with OU was the aftermath. Rather than let that bullshit charge against our offensive lineman go, the charge stuck and he had to quit school and miss out on preparing for the NFL (for a shot at a free agent) to defend himself. Don't tell me that didn't cause problems between our schools. A lot of your fans seemed rather gleeful in the harm this was causing to our player's personal life.

GOD, I dont know what I want more, to win the big 12 title game, and go to a bcs bowl, OR, lose the big 12, for a possible bowl game against oklahoma, which, we will humiliate stoops and his one dimensional program,
if sooner fan thinks for one second, that his one dimensional attack scares us, he is sorely delusional,
also,
kinda funny how oklahoma said that zac taylor sucked, and they passed on him, GEE, brilliant decision there,
by the way, nebraska will finish higher ranked than your fairy sooners this year,
bank on it,
damm, I salivate at the thought of lining up against your fairy sooners,
by the way, you seem to make fun of osborne? why is it then, that osborne is more highly regarded in the college football world, than switzer?
cause thats a fact.
no comparison, Dr. tom is higher on the all time legends list of coaches, than switzer.
dont believe me? than look it up cocksucker.

You'll never play Oklahoma in a non-BCS bowl for one simple reason, Brad: you play in the same conference.

Truth be told, I'm rooting for Nebraska to lose the Big 12 championship game and wind up in the Holiday Bowl against Cal, if only for the humor that would result from an ensuing m2 vs. Brad thread . . .

Very sure. If it I said it, it was a typo. But I did several searches using the search function with the words 'option' or 'short' or 'short side' with my name and I find nothing like it.

Brilliant, the discussion board equivalent of "I know you are but what I am"

Become relevant again before touting how great it is you won the weakest division of the major 6 conferences.

Texas has never been to the Alamo bowl, The only bowl games they have been in since the creation of the Alamo bowl have been the Sugar Rose, Holiday, Cotton, and I think the Fiesta.

To be honest if Texas can't get into the BCS I would love for them to go to the Alamo, it is the best of the non Jan 1 bowl games.

Define relevance. Michigan's best year since the backdoor 1/2 title is relevance? And there you have the answer to your own question. I'll go ahead and call 'bode using the very bowl (Alamo) you lost it in...which in a twist of irony, is the very bowl you were running smack on Nebraska with.

I called you out and now your pussy hurts. There's nothing more to see here.

1. Neb has been to the Alamo twice, hardly a staggering number.

2. Neb has beaten Big10 ass both times, a blow-out over a Big10 co-champ and a squeaker over your team.

3. Neb will likely be going to the Holiday, not the Alamo

4. Because of the preceding 3 your take sucked

backdoor? i've always thought that both teams were undefeated and it shouldn't be an issue that they had to share, but if any of the two teams backdoored into their half, 'twas nebraska.

this year is obviously umich's best since 97, but that's b/c they haven't lost yet. you set yrself up a straw man: no one's pussy hurts. keep reaching and you might discover last year was our worst in 20 years. that yr hanging yr hat on that speaks more to yr relevance than ours.

Backdoor meaning Michigan almost losing to garbage Washington State vs. Nebraska bitchslapping Peyton Manning's Tenn Vols. And then you have every Vegas oddsmaker and their pet monkey listing Nebraska 9 point favorites in a mythical matchup that year....had we all had the pleasure of seeing that game.

Point of order: Nebraska goes 5-6 a couple years ago with a new coach and a completely new scheme and the whole sporting world is like, WTF? That shit don't happen at Nebraska. If Carr retired, got fired, or drowned in Lake Superior and Michigan went 5-6 the following year...there wouldn't be half the shock and everyone would blame it on a rigorous Big 10 schedule with a new coach.

backdoor meaning playing close to the vest and scoring a typical 21 points while holding garbage wsu to nearly 30 points below their season average. and oooohhh, the vegas argument. i'm sure those are the same oddsmakers who set the lines for the two games you mentioned, eh.

point of order: more hypothetical vegas what what about carr/5-6 because it just isn't going to happen. and just b/c big 12 fans went wtf doesn't mean the rest of us did. i didn't even notice till you brought it up. thanks.

Ahhh, the '97 argument. I always like to chime in on this one. Anyone remember tOSU rolling into Columbia and spanking Mizzou 31-10? The same Mizzou team that took Nebraska to OT, only to lose on that silly soccer play? Okay, I'm done. Carry on.

I see you've reduced your arguement to the common opponent card...and conveniently failed to acknowledge the conference rival and the resulting battles especially on the road. (see Okie State vs. OU, Texas in a shit year vs. OU, etc.)

Spin it all you want but the facts remain. A Tennesse team that was 30 points better than WSU got fucking demoralized by Nebraska. Michigan playing "close to the vest" still needed some help from the zebra comittee to eek one out.

You saying you didn't notice is complete bullshit. Nebraska had a new coach and the west coast offense whilst they went 5-6 for their first losing record and bowl-less season in 3 decades and you had no idea until I mentioned it? Get some help....you're teetering on the pathological brink.

oh shit, tennessee and wazzu played that year? ut won by 30? or did vegas say they would? and umich would've totally lost had the wazzu somehow been allowed to run a 40-yard gimme. leaf should've been allowed that opportunity from the 3-yard line, which is where the ball would've been spotted had the wsu reciever not gotten away with rape on the previous hail mary.

i knew their bowl-streak had been snapped, and i probably noticed that they were 5-6 at the time, but it was obviously soooo important that i forgot about it. not as many ppl care about nebraska as you'd like to think.

Which team was better: Tennessee or Washington State?

add in the margin of victory, carry the 2, punch Michigan fan in the face to compensate the lack of grey matter = Yes Virginia, Michigan's lackluster performance/best they could muster against a shit team hardly crowns them as anything more than backdoor 1/2 champs given Nebraska's annihilation of a Peyton Manning led Vol team that was probably better than Michigan itself that year.

Though Nebraska may be down now, it's good to see Big 10 teams unable to hide behind momma's skirt in the Rose bowl to garner 1/2 titles.

And there you have it.

It's the game that never happened, dipshit. What other than the common opponent card are you gonna use to argue who woulda won the game? NFL careers of Peyton Manning & Cryin' Ryan? Damn, you got me there. I forgot that the weather was much shittier when Nebraska went to Columbia as well. Shit, how'd I forget that?
