How is Florida 3 in the AP?

They didnt deserve to be 3 today. I watched the whole USC game and they look so much better than Florida. Florida cant score over 26 points in league play, CANT beat an UNRANKED team at HOME by more than ONE point. USC, all they do is play the 20TH RANKED team in the country, at HOME and beat them by 25 POINTS. It doesnt make sense to me. You cant blame it on the game being on the west coast, just read the box score and figure it out. I cant stand Florida and I hope FSU really takes to them and gives them a Dirt Nap!
WAR the BCS putting USC ahead of the Crocs.

that was a ref aided 25 point win, without that BS reversal of a reversal SC wins by 32

I agree.. Watching Florida's gimick offense work is like watching a bunch of retard's hump a door knob. Once they get to the 20, they cant score because that bullshit offense they run wont allow a simply play to work because they dont practice it. Then TeaBag comes in and gets rocked. He wont live up to the hype. He missed too many games in HS because he got banged around.

Let's not forget that Florida needed no less than three blocked kicks to preserve that single-point win.
Having said that, however, as I said in the other thread, the BCS doesn't seem to penalize for scabdick wins. A win is a win, and Florida got the benefit of the fact that four Top 10 teams lost this week.

Let's see how the gap between USC and Florida widens if USC wins this weekend, since Florida is playing a 1 AA.

He is, but he refuses to post. Instead, I get the barage of PM's when something is said or posted about UF.
Because I love getting the PM's, I give you this:

so he is too chicken to come in here for fear of a plungering?
i mean FLA has not impressed me one bit...I mean USC outplayed them and if it wasn't for that motion penalty they probably score a TD...yes Urban is winning but holy cow are they winning uglier and uglier every week...

Pretty good read. I do agree with him about Arkansas. They look pretty damn good right now.

And I didnt even post of Florida, just on idiots who would put Arkansas above a USC team that stomped Arkansas' guts out in Fayetteville

There was a quote in one of the Tampa papers today from Urban Meyer that said, "if someone wants to take a shot, then have fun doing that and comparing us to anybody else"
I did a little comparing and saw USC played @Arkansas, Nebraska and ND OOC, while Florida played Southern Miss, UCF, W. Carolina (1 AA), and @FSU. Huge edge to USC there. Now you can argue that Florida might play a tougher conference schedule, but that certainly doesn't mean that USC doesn't.
USC would deserve a title shot more than Florida if both win out.

Fact FLA shouldn't be sniffing the top 5...
I mean USC, WVU, Lousiville, Wisconsin, etc have all looked better than FLA...I mean they had a 1 point win at UT, lost to an Auburn team that didn't score an offensive TD (If I remember correctly) and have had two close calls with Vandy and USC back to back...they suck...

FSU giving anyone worth a damn a dirt-nap is unlikely. You just lost 30-0 to Wake.
It is the SEC, nobody puts up a lot of points consistently. D rules there. Texas won a national championship borrowing from the "gimmick" spread-option offense. Leak has adequate wheels for a traditional system but not for this offense, plus they lack a good rb. Once Tebow is experienced and they get a quality back that offense will roll.
I think you make a decent argument for USC being ranked higher though, they should be ahead of Florida.

They are going to get a real good RB in Chris Rainey next season.

Dont count FSU out yet, anything can happen in a rivalry game.

Especially with the game being in Tallahassee.

As long as a "Night Before Christmas" reset doesn't follow, we're cool.

The last one wound up in the archives. I could deal with another one.

Woah woah woah....
BtH, dont get too crazy.
I think most FSU fans are hoping for a 2-0 victory over the gates. Zero offense on either side with FSU getting two points off a safety.
