Where in the hell is Texas fan?
Sack it up and give K State some props, they deserve it.
Too bad about Colt, but it is football and those things happen.
Here in a couple of weeks, GIG EM. :D

At least you sack up Vito, much respect.
And I am not calling anyone out, just giving respect.

All the local Texas fans were here on Saturday, we all gave props to KSU for a hell of an ass kicking.
It was a hard pill to swallow but we have been playing like crap since the Nebraska game I fully expected for it to bite us in the ass at some point.
I'm no longer sure we can beat a$m, they are coming off two tough losses and are playing at a pretty high level. Texas is not, we are the suck against the pass, probably our saving grace against the aggys is they ain't that good at passing the football.

Quite an understatement. I watched the Ags for the first time this year vs. OU last week. Ugh. Looked like a pop warner team trying to throw it.
But the KState game was the most entertaining I've seen all year. Until KS got way ahead, it was just back and forth with fumbles, blocked punts, wild assed flea flickers, fake punts, etc. Lots of fun. Oh, no....college football season now swirling the drain........nooooooooooooooooooooooo..............

I threw out my opinion on Saturday and it was evident on the airwaves today. Too many morons trying to pin the loss on the offensive side of the ball. Orange kool-aid makes one think a healthy McCoy guaranteed victory. Almost every loss in Mack's tenure has been due to defensive woes. Saturday was no exception. KSU came to play and their QB was red hot. Granted the UT secondary can make you look that good. This team lacked so much focus it was pathetic. One win wrapped up the Big XII South and kept their slim hopes alive of a repeat of the MNC. Instead they got outplayed and out worked. But the real sad thing is is that most Texas fans believe the season is an utter failure. With a good chance of a BCS game looming, I think it can still be better than most think. I'll be happy with 12-2 and BCS game anyday. Especially if you look at a 3 year run of BCS, MNC, BCS. As for the A&M game, Fran is still the coach so that rules out any chance they play on the road. And while their QB has not thrown well at times, the Texas defense has shown Aggie the way to victory. All they need to do is run the same HB pass every play since the UT DBs will bite on the run and leave someone wide ass open like they have all year.

I too was here and gave my props. I cannot think of a time where myself, Vito and others haven't sacked up after a Texas loss. Although, it was nice to go almost 2 years without having to do it.

I agree with you, but I can see the point with McCoy, there were too many passes that were way off target. It was hard to watch our offense. The defense has been hard to watch all year. No idea what the problem is, I've heard a lot of people talk about missed assignments and guys playing injured, but those are just stupid excuses. I think it has more to do with guys thinking their shit don't stink.

Grr, ok, here goes:
Watched the game after coming home from work (had it DVR'd along with a couple other games I wanted to watch but missed while at work). After watching the game I got drunk...real drunk.
Spent most of Sun. and Mon. playing NCAA Football 2007 and reflecting on Texas' season as it now stands. Didn't read any college football news, watch ESPN, or even turn on my computer all "weekend". Back at work today, so I am mostly caught up.
Serious congratulations to KSU on their victory. They played lights-out on O and their coach called a game that had some serious balls. Losing Colt was bad, errant passing from Jevan was bad, dropping passes was bad, finally losing fumbles was bad, getting lit up in the D secondary...again...was bad. But Saturday night was all KSU. They played harder, they wanted it more, they pulled all the stops in a major opportunity game. Grats to KSU.
So much for the "Grudge Match" game OSU vs. Texas. It had a great storyline...: Texas went to OSU house and cleaned up last year, OSU went to Texas house and cleaned up this year. Both teams home QB's had problems (Smith played only a half, McCoy was being weened). There is no scheduled game for next year. So let's play a 3rd game at a neutral site to settle this thing! No excuses this time! ...Bah
All that aside and now that I am back among the living...grats to KSU on their victory.
