They can just go ahead and light up that big 'ol "L" on the forehead. Same category as the dipshits that stand in line for Star Wars premiers and Cabbage Patch Kids.

If I didn't have a job, I'd go squatting out there, buy one or two and throw them onto ebay. Gotta be some rich parent willing to pay extra money.

And if I didn't have a life, I'd set up a fake ebay account or two and outbid everybody for the games and then stiff them on the payment. Then they could turn around and have to sell the games for retail since all the uber geek would have already gotten their fix.

I will admit that I headed out at 6:00 am the day that the Xbox 360 went on sale. I would under no circumstances ever camp out for anything.

Camping?
Well, I suppose if you're a big enough loser that you're willing to camp for one, you're a big enough loser that you don't know people.

There have been people camped out at area Best Buys since Monday. With each store only getting 20 to 30 PS3's, there must've been a lot of campers feeling pretty stupid right now as they leave the stores empty handed.

I get the whole camping out thing to see a sporting event or concert. Been there (sup Gampel Pavilion?) done that. That makes sense to me. Once the game/concert is over... it's over. You may be a part of history. You can't go Best Buy a month from now and ask for a 6th row seat at the Meadowlands to see Tate George take in a full court pass from Scottie Burrell with one second left on the clock, turn, and swish a jumper at the buzzer to beat Clemson 71-70.
Who gives a fuck if you were one of the 1st people to play Grand Theft Auto: Sioux Falls on a PS3? The game will still be there tomorrow, and the next day, and the next...

Alright which one of you did it????
PUTNAM, Conn. - Two armed thugs tried to rob a line of people waiting to buy the new Playstation 3 gaming console early Friday and shot one who refused to give up the money, authorities said.
The two confronted 15 to 20 people who were in line outside a Wal-Mart store shortly after 3 a.m. and demanded money, said Lt. J. Paul Vance, a spokesman for the state police. The new Sony consoles are selling for around $500 to $600.
"One of the patrons resisted. That patron was shot," Vance said.
He said the two gunmen fled and the victim was taken to University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. There was no immediate word on the victim's condition.
Vance said police were searching for the suspects, both believed to be in their teens. He said one was wearing a ski mask and brandishing a handgun, and the other had what appeared to be a shotgun.
Short supplies of the PS3 and strong demand led to lines of buyers, some waiting for days, outside stores across the country.
In Palmdale, Calif., authorities shut down a Super Wal-Mart after some shoppers got rowdy late Wednesday. In West Bend, Wis., a 19-year-old man was injured when he ran into a pole racing with 50 others for one of 10 spots outside a Wal-Mart.
In Lexington, Ky., police were investigating a drive-by shooting that hit four people with BB pellets outside a Best Buy store, causing minor injuries, according to WKYT, whose own reporter was hit as she interviewed buyers in line.
A Best Buy in Boston, aware it had only 140 of the consoles, got smart — its employees gave out tickets to the first 140 people in line so everyone could go home.

Fucking pointless. Everyone knows the games available for new consoles are thin on the ground and shit. You have to wait a year before it's worth upgrading.

Irony fans are enjoying the fact that the restless teens
who are shooting people to get their PS III consoles have probably
honed their skills using first person shooter games.

There was some dudes that went to one of these line ups, got their pieces out and robbed the morons standing there. Split before the police got there.
Fights at another location in Beaverton.
God help our society if these jack offs every get in a position of political power.
If those dickheads had been standing there like that back in the day, we had one of those water filled fire extingushers, that you could pressurize, we would have done a drive by and soaked their asses down.

Considering criminals are not the smartest bunch, but I am thinking they did not spend 2 days in line to figure out they were going to rob the geeks. Props to the cons for getting their jack much faster and mucccchhhh easier.
Dude in Beaverton has now hired security to guard him and his PS's, even after he takes them home. Figures a play station would make a good home invasion robbery.

That blast about honing their skills with first person shooter games caught me off guard.
I gotta give it to you on that one.
