Hey Texas...

...with all of this tOSU and Michigan hype, and with the game (early 4th) appearing to live up to it, then, I've got an idea...

How's about you guys nut up and lose to A&M so that OU and Nebraska can show everybody what a REAL rivalry is? :D I miss OU / Nebraska so much. I honestly think that, even if they started playing OU / Nebraska games in June, I'd still sit there, underneath a blanket, eating turkey and watching the game with a drink. (usually cheap bourbon and coke) Ah, to be young again.

Ah...the joys of a teacher's salary.

No BTH for Danny... the skull only rolls with a real band from his great state of Oklahoma, it would have to be Color Me Badd.

No doubt on the "joys of a teacher's salary" thing. I'm pretty sure that I lived better this past summer when all I was doing was bartendering and playing poker twice a week. That's what I'm missing. My "supplemental income." I was fine before they banned US gambling online. Boo on that shit.

...and if I roll with any band from Oklahoma, it'd be the Lips. Color Me Badd (allegedly) grew up not too far from me though. Kinda makes me wish I'd have been more into the "get drunk, drive to another nearby town, and beat people up" thing that some of my football buddies were into. Maybe I could have nipped the Color Me Badd virus in the bud.

I dunno know....how do you lose to Baylor?Toledo? and the last time I checked the Scoreboard read Texas 66 Kansas 14.

and why the fuck would you tear down goal posts after beating KSU? KSU comes to Austin next year and I bet we beat them by 30. Do you think a GP will come down? Doubt it. You also won at home and we played them at their house. If I am not mistaken, they beat you pretty good last year in Manhattan.

BTW.... Oral Roberts??? Methinks one might check the structure of thines house before launching projectiles.

I checked it twice. This is the college FOOTBALL forum, and he's got a FOOTBALL helmet as his avatar, not gym shorts.

Heh. K-State. They've fucked US before too, though. Kind of. They didn't keep us out of the game, but, in the words of Bobby Boucher, "they took our manhood."

The KSU game was going to happen sooner or later, Texas has been playing like shit sine the Oklahoma game, the only game that they didn't look like crap was the Okie lite game. I have no problem losing to KSU when our starting QB is injured. That game was decided on a 3 minute stretch of Texas mistakes and KSU's excellent execution. No tears from me as long as we beat the agroids.
