Frank "the fuckin" Tank!

I remember everyone of you fuckin' idiots calling me nuts for saying Frank Gore was the steal of the draft by getting him in the 3rd round.

Well, with a 148 yards in the 1st half alone last week, and setting a San Francisco 49'ers(best team in the history of the NFL) rushing record for a single game... 212 yards on 24 carries and a 8.8 yard per carry average on one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Could you imagine what he would do on a good team?

Frank Gore is simply the Best running back in the NFL!

P.S... He went over a 1,000 yards for the season today, with the best yards per carry of any back in the NFL.(on one of the worst teams in the NFL).!

... and "Give me some Gore"!!!

mStool also said that Marcus Maxwell was the next Terrell Owens too.

Maxwell has been cut 3 times, and now back on the practice squad.

Oh, dear.

Hey C&Paul, did you hear that the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor?

How's about that...Niners are one game out of the division lead. Sure, it's the most atrocious division we've seen in years, but it gets a playoff spot.

The Niners are rolling. And Seattle is sucking. I guess breaking up that O-line wasn't such a good idea.

He's not even second best.

He's good, though. I'll give you that. Calm down...
And he still has problems holding on to the rock too.

He has a nice burst, has good balance and vision, and so far has been pretty tough.

But he, as well as the rest of the team, hasn't found a nose into the end zone, yet.

Until then he has the potential of being one of the best.

Niners are only one game out of the division lead, with a victory over the only team in front of them.

Could this be a playoff year for the soon-to-be team from Santa Clara?

(personally I think they should build a new crib in Milpitas, or better yet, Alviso)

I don't think they are a playoff team, because I don't think they have more than 3 wins left in them, if that.

And, I don't think they will move to Santa Clara, because York doesn't have the juice, or smarts, to get something like that done on his own. Plus, the Yorks don't have that much cash to fight off the Lawyers, as well as build the fukken thing in the first place.

Brisbane is a better area, and it's just east of the Stick, and they offered them a land deal that was sweet years back.

They balked at that because of cash out of thier own pocket.

Fuck the Yorks. Add them to the Owner death pool, along with Alcula.

montinelevine, or Angelina Ballerina, or mDeuce, or whatever your fucking name is:

Your boy Aaron Rogers got his chance yesterday at Lambeau and stunk up the joint. Looks like we’ll be shopping for a QB in the off-season.

This may have had something to do with his performance.

Oh, so this time he had an excuse for sucking. We still need to find the next starting QB.

I agree... the endzone is like a magnet to LT. He's had an amazing month.

You need to take into consideration, that only two players have put up similar numbers to Frank Gore in the history of the NFL... and played on shit teams.

You may know these guys...

Walter Payton and Barry Sanders.

2006 Regular Season

LEAGUE LEADERS

Rushing Yds
1. LJ KC 1045
2. The Tank SF 1043
3. LT SD 1037
4. T. Barber NYG 971
5. W. Parker PIT 893

i expect gores production to increase as long as allen and jennings stay healthy. this rams game this week could be another 200 yards

The Tank keeps a rollin'...

NFL Rushing Yards
1. L. Johnson KC 1202
2. F. Gore SF 1177
3. L. Tomlinson SD 1146
4. T. Barber NYG 1080
5. C. Taylor MIN 999

The Tank... is just 25 yards behind LJ.

With 72.... that's right... 72 less carries!!!

The Tank is close to 6 yards a carry, and there isn't a running back even close to that number!

Did I mention he is on one of the worst teams in football?

Could you imagine the "Tank" with a line like KC or SD?

Frank Gore... is simply the best!(damn, did I call that?)

Why, yes I did.

Nobody has ever doubted Gore's ability. The big question mark about Gore was and is his durability. If he's still around in 4 years, then the 9ers got one of the all time great steals.

Funny stuff, from Mr. Put Big Ben in Canton less than 20 games into his NFL career.

I seem to recall you classifying Roethlisberger as an elite NFL player early in the 05-06 season. I don't recall the exact quote... but you put him in a sentence with LT and Preist Holmes (pre Merriman hit.) I railed on you for premature ejaculation.

It's refreshing refreshing to see you preaching restraint now that your boy has morphed into a 1962 version of George Blanda. He won't approach the record of 42 INT... but 30 is doable. ya think?

Google all you want, you won't find where I have said, or even implied that Ben Roethlisberger rates HOF induction. The only players currently on the Steelers who even rate a sniff at the HOF based on their current resume are Ward and Faneca. And even that is by no means certain.

What I said about Roethlisberger was that he is one of the best known players in the NFL. As for his HOF credentials, that remains to be seen. Writing Ben off after this season is as idiotic as anointing him as the next Bradshaw after last year.

Google? Don't mind if I do:
Last year, BSmack wrote:Highest QB rating in the NFL. Higher than both Mannings, Palmer, and whoever the fuck you root for.
At the time... you were pimping BOTH his skills AND how widely he was recognized.

I will give you this much, today, there aren't too many people who haven't heard of him. And most of the recognition has come in the form of notoriety... not because how greatly he has performed on the field.... unlike your LT's of the world.

I'm sorry, I mised the part where I said that he was an HOF QB. Could that be because I DIDN'T SAY IT?

He's having a bad year. Then again, most QBs are just starting to get a sniff of an NFL starting job in their 3rd year. Ben has already won over 30 games as a starter and has a Super Bowl ring. If that doesn't qualify as elite territory, then you're beyond help.

Again... you were pimping him as one of the most widely recognized, and certainly, one of the league's best players.

Why else would you throw out this stat?:
Highest QB rating in the NFL

What's his rating now? Face it, you thought this guy had amazing skills. I thought back then and I still think, he's average at best. Give the guy a lead and let him only throw 20 times a game.. he's not bad. He won't blow it. Pressure him, put him in a position where he has to make plays for his team to win = dude ends up challenging Andrew Walter for the lowest rated QB in the NFL. He'll be lucky if he's still in the league 3 years from now.

You can say that about any QB in the NFL. Nobody wins games on their back.

Let's go back to the original point, shall we, as we've seen to have gotten off topic.

You were preaching restraint before making a determination on Gore. I implied that was rather hypocritical of you based upon your totally "unbiased" opinions on Roethlisberger after less than 20 NFL games.

I agree, Bri... let's not be hasty before passing judgement:

Pig Pen's regular season stats in games he started before your post Oct 19, 2005:
W/L 17-1
TD vs INT 24-11

Pig Pen's regular season stats in games he started since your Oct 19, 2005 post:
W/L 9-9
TD vs INT 22/28

Funny how you can look at a little 18 game stretch and make a rush to judgement, huh?

Couple the last half of his regular season career with some very subpar post-season performances and I'm not sure what to make of this guy, Super Bowl ring ('sup 9 completions, 2 INT?)... or no.
