Pretty early to make that call, but if LT keeps going like he has been for the past month and a half, and the Bolts keep winning, it would be hard to deny him the MVP.
LJ is having an awesome year too. How many yards did he have tonight? He may have passed LT on total rushing yards. Gonna be hard to match the TD total though.
All the top RBs seem to be really picking it up the past 4 weeks or so. Hitting mid-season stride, maybe.

He plays Right-Fan.....as do most of us.
My phone was ringing until the end of the 3rd quarter last night with calls from my wife's family in Denver.
Fuckers are lucky I'm nice and wasn't calling them all back as soon as my alarm went off at 3:45am this morning

LJ can't match LT as a pass receiver, and there's the difference.
One of theses days, maybe he'll develop that ability, but right now he's got hands of stone.
LT is in another league, another dimension, another universe... one that I didn't know existed until I witnessed it with my own eyes.
Seriously, this guy may be the best ever.
How old is he again? I can't wait until he retires.

There's a search function here, feel free to use it.
I've never dissed LT since day one, in fact, I've been saying he IS the Charger's offense.
Because it's true.
Now if you want to start a Quentin Jammer thread....
Or you could just say props and move on.
Or just move on.

Four years younger than Tiki Barber.
I hope he's not quite ready to take his ball and go home.

First Emmitt.
Then Edge.
LT in a Cardinal uniform?

I think he's got at least four more good years in him before he sinks to that level of desperation.

8 100-yd games, 7 in a row
9 multi-td games, 7 in a row
29 tds plus 2 td passes in 13 games
5.0 ypc despite being the focus of every defensive game plan
This shit is not normal. He is already the MVP. There is no discussion.

Drew Brees needs to average 348 yds a game for his last 3 games to break Dan Marino's single season passing yardage record of 5,084, which has stood for 22 yrs.
If he breaks that record is he not the league MVP .... ?

Brees needs to average about 350 yards/game (for the last 3) to break Marino's record, lead a team that was 3-13 last year to having a first round bye this year... and there's NO DISCUSSION?
Are you high?
Granted, I'd give it to LT too... but 5,000+ yards and a 1st round bye makes for a discussion. The award is MOST VALUABLE player. Seems to me, improving your record by 8 games (assuming they go 11-5) and throwing for 5,000 yards makes someone pretty valuable.

In a word, no. In almost any other season he might be the MVP. Not this year, not even close.

LT needs one TD to break the all time single season scoring record, a record that has stood for
46 years and was set by a player who not only scored TDs but was the team's place kicker as well.
If he breaks that record is he not the league MVP...?
Either one could deserve it right now. Let's wait until the season's over before pronouncing, m'kay?

Yea, that's right. He's now tied with Barry Sanders for 13th on the all time list. I know you're trying to be objective and all, but anybody who isn't gift wrapping the MVP for LT should have their DirecTV dish taken away from them.

Rivers had a terrible game. LT was basically the only weapon that was working and the Chiefs knew it.

By the way, The Skins brought the pressure on Brees yesterday.
Can't fault Drew for that.

Sure you can. He has to make better decisions under pressure. He threw the ball up for grabs many a time yesterday.
