already a nice win by the 4th place Missouri st bears over wisconsin(picked by many to win the big10). Southern illinois pisses a game away and loses in OT to Arkansas, but a good game to build off of..

and its early, most of the mvc teams will be a lot better come middle of season.

i guess gary williams and his acc buddies didnt want a OOC game this year with the valley?

Nice win for the Bears...took Okie St to overtime in the loss.

After getting snubbed in the tourney last season, I hope the Bears can finish high enough in the MVC to make it to March Madness. Most of the team is back, but they are projected by most to finish in the middle of the pack in a tough, tough conference that sent four to the dance, with two reaching the Sweet 16. Another invite for the Bears to the NIT would suck major ass.

Good luck, Bears.

witchy st beats LSU on the road.

bradley lost a lot of talent, and took illinois to wire.

Wichita St. @ Syracuse Saturday. Both should be unbeaten. Should be a hell of a game.

We sure as hell can't spot the Shockers a 15 point lead like we did againts Canisius.

Looking forward to playing Missouri State in a few weeks. I dont' think we've come along far enough to beat them, but ii will be a good test before Big East play.

Nice 8 minutes of basketball we played :? We played 8 good minutes out of 40, and still almost pulled it off. What a strange game.

Props to the Shockers though, they took it to us and we responded too late.

Mid-majors ain't shite!

sin,
B-ball powerhouses

You big conferences better wake up and smell the coffee. There will be plenty more top teams to fall before all is said and done. In a few months from now, you'll hear the same whining as last year about the MVC putting another 4 or 5 teams in the tourney!

bad loss for Missouri st.

not so bad for us 314 residents, but ahern had Zero points, they didnt hit a basket for the last 3-5 minutes and lose at the buzzer? Loss should help them get ready for MVC conference play.

SLU awaits ass raping from North Carolina at Scottrade center. Bace, ya going? scored some bleeders, im talking about 2nd to last row bleeders, might just sell the tix and go to federkos to watch the game, or sit in 14th and clark and pound the brewskis down.
