At tonights USC-ND game

USC had official visits from 5 HS players ranked #1 in the nation at their position, they also had 2 players ranked #2 at their postion nationally and 5th and 6th ranked players at their position respectfully. In all 10 players had made this weekend their official visit weekend at USC, 9 of those players are 5 star players, the other is a 4 star DT from Georgia. There were 10-12 other local High School recruits on USC's sideline that wern't on their official visit, some had already verbaled to USC.

Just pointing out that USC had some of the best HS talent in the nation at the game and now more than likely a lot of them will be picking USC. Carroll certainly knows what he is doing.

Thanks for pointing that out, Marcus. I was so confused by how SCT made the same point, only with examples. You're simply THE master at reading between the lines.

in all fairness, a good deal of those kids at the game have already given verbal commitments to USC.
Austin and Griffen also participated in Trojan Walk before the game as well as the pep ralleys, I think both are coming to Troy

USC is definitely on an impressive tear. I keep expecting scandal to erupt - high flight talent has a way of regarding the rules to be beneath them.
