SoCal, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't I let you write your own loser's sig last year? Or maybe that was Radio Fan...

Hmmm. Can't remember now. I kinda like the idea though of letting the immortal SoCal write his own loser's sig.

So, 6-6 passes for a bowling acceptable record these days, eh? Gawd, they'll let anybody in, won't they? Sucks that you got the Emerald Bowl. San Francisco?? Like your guys don't already wolf down enough rainbow shlong down there in Ma & Pa Kettle Bear Land. I was kinda hoping you'd get the Honolulu gig but come to think of it even that one wouldn't have been quite fitting for you guys.

No, what you guys really deserve is a trip to Smurf Field, in winter. Blue field, blue unis, blue noses, blue balls, blown coverages. Dammit. You guys, in Idaho, in the snow, playing North By Northwest Wagon Wheel A&I, that would've been beautiful...

No, you'd been dead nuts perfect in recalling that indeed I wrote my own loser sig last year.

It was that memorable, huh?

And save your own private Idaho fantasies for you and SoCalTrjn.

Oh, okay then, we're on again. I'll even write your sig for you this time.

This time around you wanna be rare, medium rare, medium, well done or charcoal?

socalabia, you are on.

Speaking of 5th grade, how are Dorrel's report cards looking this semester?

13.5, and little to none.

UCLA's coming in off of a bye week, which in theory should help them. Some people feel though that a bye is actually a negative. USC was coming off a bye when they lost to Oregon St.

USC is coming off a three week stretch of crucial games and now they have to play their rival in their rival's house.

Won't matter. USC has too much talent for UCLA and USC is used to having to play important streaks of games to end their season. We're also looking at Pete Carroll playing for an outright Pac 10 title, a continuation of USC's eight game winning streak over UCLA and, most importantly now, a chance at another national title game.

On the other side there's Karl Duhrell, who'll be doing well if he finds his car keys on the first try that Saturday morning.

With the exception of 2004 (the circumstances of which were very similar to this one) most recent USC-UCLA match ups have been complete blowouts. In '04 though USC went into UCLA's place for a game they knew they didn't need to win with any style points...and they didn't. They just went in and won an ugly one. This year, yeah, USC's again probably going to get in regardless of how they beat UCLA, just so long as they beat UCLA. You gotta think though that USC still feels the need to look good here, what with Florida and Michigan breathing down their necks and a national BCS debate continuing to rage on in so many quarters around the nation.

UCLA will almost certainly struggle to do much offensively against USC's defense. They'll also struggle mightily to contain USC's size and speed at WR. Booty's playing very well. USC should put up at least 30 and there's probably no way UCLA will score 30 on USC.

I have it picked as USC winning in a somewhat lackluster effort resulting in a final score of something like 31-22. Most other people see USC's margin of victory being significantly higher.

Perhaps it all depends if you let Susan in on it this year or not.

As I recall last year you eased up a bit and didn't have the heart to pull the trigger on me. This led to the 'write your own sig' idear.

Then Seer bitched about it. A lot.

SoCal, so, what you're saying here in a not exactly oblique way is that you want Susan to write your sig this time??

Fine, we have a deal...provided you tap into your demonic Mr Hand school teacher powers to conjure up the tortured spirit of R.C. Collins to write my sig, you know, should you ever actually manage to win one of these things...

No, Van, you needn't call in the lefty from the bullpen on this one. You will write this one by your lonesome.

And if Pasadena should freeze over Saturday afternoon enough so John David Booty cannot lob a snowball past Idi Amin and Hitler on the D-line, you won't be needing me to channel R.C. to write your sig. No, it'll be R.C. himself improvising the role of Impala upholsterer as he drops you from your wind-whipped shower rod orbit and pummels your Bubba candy with efficiency and dispatch.

You, (the supposed bruinfan) make rediculous bets, and proudly display the results of your (lack of judgement, ((going easy on you here))), for all the board to see...

If the Bruins win, that's a win. If the Bruins lose by 30+, that's a win. If the Bruins lose by less than 20 that is fucked up.

Seer, try to keep in mind that he's only risking a sig here. Big deal. Nobody really cares. It's all in good fun between us. It ain't life and death and it's nothing to worry about...

Van,

It's been gettin' kinda cold this week, don'tcha think?

Seer,

Stop being a cunt and throw your sig-ass in the ring. For chrissakes you could rattle off 50 "Fire Duhrell" posts before he meets Petey for the midfield, postgame, I-got-your-ass handshake.

Seer, you've been through the entire Karl Duhrell Era and you haven't beaten USC since SoCal still had more hair on his noggin than on his back and somehow you've managed to remain alive and (sorta) well.

One more won't hurtcha. UCLA Fan is impervious to pain. Your team may be nothing but vagina fillet au gratin but the iron mettle of UCLA Fan can never be doubted. You guys are Stalin and Rambo and Richard Simmons all rolled into one sweet smelling bon bons box of assfucked silent desperation.

You're beautiful fuggen idiots; true stalwarts, with the emphasis on the warts. You are to be saluted, long suffering UCLA Fan!

Right. See? We all managed. No biggie. No need to sweat SoCal the way you do over something as trivial as a sig...

Mission accomplished.

Look on the bright side, Trojan fan. As least now you won't be humiliated in the MNCG against tOSU.
