Trip of a lifetime

So a couple of days ago, we get this package in the mail at my office, from OU. Since it wasn't addressed to our department, my boss opens it up. Turns out it's 4 tickets to the Big 12 championship game, plus a parking pass.
After asking around, my boss figures these are probably meant for the owner of our company, and gets them over to him.
So on Thursday, with the weather being completely shitty with ice and snow, and still snowing, I decide to go into work an hour early, knowing everything at my work is going to be moved up because of the conditions.
Best intuition I've ever had in my life.
About 10 minutes after I'm at my desk, the owner of the company is walking around in our department. So I said hello and joked, "Hey, got an extra ticket to the game on Saturday?"
Him: "Well, I can't go, so somebody needs to take them. haha."
My boss is on the phone and the owner waited a second, before heading into another office. Dude comes back a few minutes later and says to my boss, "Hey, I can't go to the game this Saturday, do you want to go?"
My boss (an '86 OU grad and HUGE fan): "Oh, I wish I could, but my wife would kill me if I took off this weekend."
So then the owner of the company walks over to me.
"You want to go to game?"
Me:
"Uh ... yeah! I'd love to go!"
Him: "Here's 4 tickets. We (he and his family) can't make it."
Me:
"Thanks. ... Thank you!" :D :D :D :D
Him: "Have fun." :)
Turns out the tickets are in section 118, row 22.

My gf works in retail and she can't go. (holiday cheer, etc.) So, I call my mom, who is a HUGE sports fan and has never even been to Arrowhead before, nor had tickets this good to any of the Packers or OU games she's been to (neither have I) ... and both of us are bound for KC on Saturday morning.
Truman is going to be our host, and tail-gating coordinator. RACK him. A friend of his who is a huge OU fan will also join us.
We got 10.5 inches of snow here last night, in addition to the 2 inches of freezing rain and sleet the day before, and I was really worried I might not be able to make it up ... but the sun came out today and the roads are surprisingly in decent shape. My mom's driving up from OKC as I type this and should be here any minute.
It's going to be cold, but fuck it. I'm bringing 10 layers and am going to take in every moment of this experience.
This is going to be EPCOT.
I will represent, Sooner Fan.
Out.
