Thanks gents. I think you guys deserved it over FL but I understand why it worked out this way. Doesn't mean its fair but I see why it went this way. I feel bad for Wiscy as well, they got screwed--I wish people didn't love ND so damn much. I don't recall ever rooting for LSU but I sure will that day.

Do you know the BCS rules? At-large bids cannot be awarded to more than one team from a conference.

Thus, Michigan's at-large bid eliminated Wisconsin from consideration, and LSU's at-large bid eliminated Arkansas from consideration. And that rule has existed ever since the BCS existed.

Btw . . .

Arkansas actually finished #12 (i.e., behind ND), and with three losses. I think you were thinking of Auburn. Even then, you don't have your facts entirely correct (rankings of Wisconsin and Auburn are reversed). Also, Auburn leapfrogged ND last week in BCS standings even though both Notre Dame and Auburn were idle. Explain to me exactly how that happened.
