Holy crap. That shit was intense.
If you like pretentious movies that reach too far, check this one out. Some reviewers found the disjointed narrative to be too jarring, but anyone going to see a movie made by the same guy who did Pi and Requiem for a Dream will know what they're getting into. I was most impressed to find the amazing visuals were made with little to no help from the CGI computer stuff.
What I really liked was the fact that I didn't know where the director was going. When all the of the indie house movies seem to be formulaic (academy award winner Judi Dench in yet another uppity English romance) this kind of surprising flick is a lot more fun.
